RangaShankara, J P Nagara, NammaBengaluru

We witnessed a very humorous social drama "Adaddella olithe.." (Whatever happens is for Good) at RangaShankara, yesterday.

It was 90 - minutes play with full of fun, jokes and humour with a good punch and superb acting by all the actors. Specially the leading roles Sunder and Lakshmi Chandrashekhar.

It is about an elderly couple, wife very pious, witty and traditional woman,  whose children are married. Son married to a trendy girl, lives in Mumbai and daughter married to a French Guy, Pierre.

Their dialogues at home while they keep their house clean, showing the old things, not want to throw them. The wife Bhagirathi going to Mumbai by train to see her son and daughter-in-law, her ordeal of staying in a small room and dialogues with housemaid etc are excellent.

The episode of daughter and son-in-law,  French Guy Pierre, coming home for Deepavali and his funny acting was very humorous.

The message at the end of the play was to leave the children to have their own life and to look after themselves and elders not to interfere in their living ways and life.

The punching dialogues, the expressions, movements of Lakshmi ChandraShekhar were excellent.

The stage setting and dialogues were also good.

Madhu, Pushpa, Harish Upadhya, Kalpana and her mother
