#36 Sathi Savitri, Kannada Play is hilarious, good punching dialogues and acting is written and directed by Karthik Hebbar.

His recent play 36 Sati Savitri Nivasa happening today at 7:30 p.m. in Ranga Shankara, J.P. Nagar is a lighthearted feminist story. The play chronicles the lives of three middle-class women as they go through important milestones in life. What happens to the lives of women leading a predictable life when it is turned upside down due to an unusual candidate taking residency in their middle-class apartment? This is a play about sisterhood, old age, loneliness and friendship. It is also an ode to all the chaos that adds beauty to the lives of these women, including television serials and cinema. There is music, some dancing and loads of madness in this tribute to women and their strength in this patriarchal society that we dwell in.  

The play enacted by renowed theatre artists Dr Seetha Kote (Sharadamma), Deepika Aaradhya (Jayamma)Yashaswini Chennaih (Saroja) Divyashree and Vishak Bharadwaj.

The housefull Ranga Shankara Auditorium, people mostly senior citizens were bursting with laughter for dialogues and acting of artists. The songs and dances by girls/boys were very entertaining. The mimic of TV ads were very good.

It was after a long time, we were going to Ranga Shankara for watching a play and it was very refreshing. Returned home after tiffin at Rajatadri Resturant by Wuber Taxi.

Sunandi Holistic Eldercare, KodigeHalli, Bengaluru.

The weekly divine session of Bhajan and Satsag for residents of the Eldercare Home of Sunandi was completed, with active participation of inmates.

HANUMAN JAYANTI SPECIAL

As it was HanumaJayanthi special, Hanuman Chalisa was palyed to the benifit of all.

Jatthappa Gowda accompnaied for today's session.

Bhajane continued with inmates contributing to the session. A story of Hanuman having bell in his tail was read out to the much appreciation of listeners.

The session ended with Arthi,  distribution of Vibhoothi and Prasada to all.

ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನುಡಿದಂತೆ ನುಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಮ ನಡೆದಂತೆ ನಡೆದಾಗ ನಾವು ರಾಮ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಗ್ತೇವೆ.

ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಬೆಳೆದಿದ್ದು ಹೆಬ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ನನಗೆ ಸೀತಾನದಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯ ಮಾಲಿಕರಾದ ಸುಮತಿ ಆಂಟಿಯ ಬಾಲವಾದ ನಾನು ಅವರು ಅವರ ನೆಂಟರ ಮನೆಯಾದ ಸೀತಾನದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಡನೆ ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಆ ನೆಂಟರ ಮನೆಯ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀತಾನದಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅವರ ಮನೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಅದು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಳವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ನಾವು ಮನಸೋ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ಆ ನದಿಯ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು. ಅದರೊಡನೆಯ ನನ್ನ ನಂಟು ಎಷ್ಟಿದೆಯೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಈಗಲೂ ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟಿ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಊರೆಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ಆ ನದಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಚುಂಬಕದಂತೆ  ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 28ರಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಔಟಿಂಗ್ ಗೆ ಹೊರಟ ನಾವು ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಸೀತಾನದಿಯ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಇಕ್ಕೊಡ್ಲು ಹೋಂ ಸ್ಟೇ ಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಐದೂವರೆಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಲುಪಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂಡ ಮೂಗು ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ತಿಂದು, ಟೀ ಕುಡಿದು ಓಡಿದ್ದು ಆ ನದಿಯೆಡೆಗೆ! ನನಗೆ ಆ ಉರುಳುಗಲ್ಲಿನ ರಾಶಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟವಾದರೂ ನಮ್ಮವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಾಯ ಪಡೆದು ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದವಳಂತೆ ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟೆ. ಅರವತ್ತರ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ನಾನು ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಸಹಾಯ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ತಪ್ಪಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲವೆ?  ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಸರ್ವ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಳು; ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರೊಳಗಿನ ಮೀನಿನಂತೆ !!!

ಹದವಾಗಿ ಬೆಚ್ಚಗಿದ್ದ ಸೀತಾನದಿಯ ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂಡದವರು ಆಡಿದ್ದೇ ಆಡಿದ್ದು! ನೀರೆರಚಾಟವಂತೂ ಬಹಳ ಮಜವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಜು ಬಲ್ಲವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಜನ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ತುಂಬಾ ಆಳವಿದ್ದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಜು ಬಲ್ಲ ನಾವೊಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಜನ ನದಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಈಜಿದೆವು. ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ದಟ್ಟ ಮಳೆಯ ಮೋಡ; ಗುಡುಗು ಸಿಡಿಲಿನ ಅಬ್ಬರಾಟ. ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣಗೆ ಹನಿಗರೆಯತೊಡಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರೊಳಗೆ ಇರುವ ಆನಂದವೇ ಬೇರೆ. ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ಗಂಟೆಯ ಕಾಲ ನದಿ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟವಾಡಿ ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಂ ಸ್ಟೇ ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈಜುಕೊಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಾಟವಾಡಿದೆವು.

ಬಹಳ ವರುಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ನಾನು ಸೀತಾನದಿಯ ನೀರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟವಾಡಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಹಳೆಯ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲುಕಿದಂತಾಯಿತು. ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ನೆನಪುಗಳೇ ಚೆಂದ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಜಗತ್ತಿನೊಳಗೆ ನಾವಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಲ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವೇನೊ? ಪುನಃ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಬಾರದೆ ಎಂದು ಆ ಕ್ಷಣ ಹಂಬಲಿಸಿದೆ.

ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೀತಾನದಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾದ್ಯಂತವಾಗಿ ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿದೆ. ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ನದಿಯ ರಭಸವೇನು ಜಾಸ್ತಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರೆದಿದ್ದ ಹಸಿರು ಸಿರಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕಣ್ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪುನಃ ಬಾಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದ ಆ ಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನೊಳಗೆ ಭದ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ನನ್ನೊಳಗಿನ ಭಾವನೆಗಳ ಪರಿವೇ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಪಾಡಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ನದಿಗೆ ಮನದೊಳಗೆ ನಮಿಸಿದೆ

FLOMONT WORLD SCHOOL - ANNUAL DAY

URVI - Grand Daughter (D/O Ravi-Vidya) is all set to participate in her school's Annual Day program. She is very excited.

5 year children in the class presented a Goan Dance with little movements for about 2 minutes and it is over.

Other children in different classes also presented dances only.

As the program was in open stage, and parents seated in the open air, half way through the program, it started raining and everybody got up from their seats and went to shelter in the school corrdor.

We also left from the place, had s tiffin ia a hotel and returned home in Wuber Taxi.

After a gap of 3 months, we had chance to get-together for a special Sri Ramanavami  Bhajane online.

The following Sugama Family were present and actively participated with Bhajane.

That was Ramanavami Special, as most of the Bhajans were about Prabhu Sri Ramachandra.

After singing Bhagyada Lakshmi Baaramma.... by Somayajis, Aarthi was performed.

It was divine, devotional,  2- hour session with nice bhajans sang by all,  including  Prasad Sir , Aarthi song by Ashok, Mangala Bhajans by Anirudh and Ramachandra Udupa, Shankaraya by MadhuPushpa.

Ashok in his abhinandane, complemented members celebrating BirthDays and Wedding Anniversarys.

Prayers for people in the Gulf Conflict,  prayed for it to end soon.

After me watching DURANDHAR -2 movie, and Mom watching 'LOVE MOCKTAIL - 3",  we relaxed at the food court, eating some chats at BRAHMIN'S KHADYA.

We ate Paani-Poori, Samosa, and SevPoori and drank Coffee.  It was not very tasty, however, it was okay.

Dhurandhar (धुरंधर) is a Hindi/Sanskrit term referring to an expert, stalwart, or a highly skilled and capable person. It describes someone who is a master of their craft, a leader, or someone who efficiently bears heavy responsibilities (similar to a "key player" or "top gun"). 

Centered around spy-man Hamza Ali Mazari, played by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar is the name of the covert operation jiske tehat yeh jasoos Pakistan bheja jaata hai, to figure out ki internal politics kya chal rahi hai. The location chosen for this is the town of Lyari in Karachi. Partly because it’s politically important, but also because yahaan arajakta phaili hai. Gang wars and a diverse population of immigrants has made Lyari a hotbed for corruption and opportunism. Jiska faayda uthaakar, bataur spy ghul mil jaana asaan hai.

The film is broken up into 8 chapters, signifying little more than the passage of time. These titles, Stranger in the Land of Shadows, The Bastard King of Lyari, Bullets and Roses, The Jinn, The Devil’s Guardian, The Butterfly Effect, and finally Et Tu Brutus are perhaps an attempt to give the audience a break from trying to follow the sprawling and ever-expanding storyline by splitting it up into chunks. 

It's absolutely tiring to watch too long (4 hours) movie with so much killing, ghastly scenes explosions, and hyped scenarios.

SRI RAMANAVAMI SPECIAL

Srirama Bhajane was held at the centre, to mark  Sri Ramanavami, which is being celebrate today and tomorrow.

After Dhyana for a minute and Onkaara, and Prarthane for all Gods, Ganesha Stuthi bhajan was sung by Yoga Jayaram amd myself.

After "Shankaraya.... bhajan" , a short talk was read by me about birth of Rama and importance of Ramanavami.

Mangalarathi was performed with "Jay Jagadisha Hare....." after which Vibhoothi and Prasada Kosambari and KesariBaath was distributed.
