POST WEDDING PROGRAMS
1. Gana Homa - at Birthimane, Salekeri.
In the morning, Purohiths are supposed to arrive at 8 am, bur they only arrive after 9.30am.
Preparation for the homa, manadala for Ganapathi ans Srikara, was done by the first purohith.
Homa started and finished poornahuthi in an hour.
It was good feeling of vibration praying for Lord Ganesha, Vighna Vinashaka.
2. Sri Satyanarayana Pooja: at Birthimane Salekeri.
After finishing Gana Homa, newly weds moved inside the Padashale, where part of the pooja was done. Afterwhich Naivedya and Mangalathi was performed.
As they had to hurry up for Aarathakshathe at Kota, they left and we followed them.
3. Aarathashathe at Patels House, Kota:
Three newly weds were felicitated at a grand function at Handattu Sridhar Hande's house, with stage and Shamiyana.
There were songs, aarthi for newly weds, felicitations to Janardhana Hande and wife Malathi for completing 50 years wedding anniversary.
Grand lunch with different idea, like AvareKai Idli, Shavige, Soup and sandige, Aloo paratha, Curry, Pathrode, anna saaru, chakkuli, Tampina Paayasa, Fruit Salad, Anna Mosaru, Uppinakai.Ice cream.
It was a grand feast.
