RATHOTSAVA AT HUNSUR

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Hunsur.

The annual "NARASIMHA JAYANTHI"  Rathotsva Celebration took place with lot of music, drums and people pulling the rope of the "Ratha"(Chariot)

We were there, Kavitha driving Mahindra XUV 700 from Bengaluru on Sunday evening, reached Hunsur at 8 pm, having left ILife apartment at 4.30 pm.

Satish Rao, Nalini's younger brother and his family, wife Malathi and son Aditya, has his own house near to the temple and he runs Food outlet, Naivedya Mess.

The street was decorated with Rangoli in front of each house, and the house owner giving "Hannu, Kayi, and AarathI" in front of their house, asking for blessings.

The Chariot (Ratha) was taken round the town, and was brough back to to the temple.
