NIMISHAMBA TEMPLE, SRIRANGAPATNA

 Saturday, 18th Sept.2021

Srirangapatna, Bengalur-Mysuru Highway

Our next stop was at NIMISHAMBA TEMPLE, Ganjam, near Srirangapatna.

It is believed that Goddess Nimishamba will remove all your troubles and difficulties in a minute (Nimisha)

The temple is just 3 kilometers from town of Srirangapatna (Don't follow the Google map), and is on the banks of River Cauvery.

Goddess Nimishamba is believe to be incarnation of Goddess Parvathi, consort of Lord Shiva. The temple might have been built during Raha Wadiyar in 1610-38, who ascended to the throne of Srirangapatna.

Large number of devotees and visitors throng the place as it is nice location for outing.

There are other attraction as swimming in the river, horse riding etc and of course food and juice stalls.
