Mysuru.
Suresh Cukkemane and his family (Wife Usha, Son Ajith and Daughter Archana) have been our close family friends for last more than 35 years, in Dubai, AbuDhabi, Bengaluru and Mysuru.
MEMORIES
Innumerable times we have been together, whether Birthday party, Outing, Visiting places or New Year get-togethers. He has been a very good friend, wellwisher, and a gentleman to the core.
Sadly, Suresh finished his life journey last Sunday morning, 12th October, in Mysuru due to heart attack and his last rites were completed today at Mysuru, after son Ajith returned from Canada and daughter Archana from USA.
As he was a senior Naval Veteran, many people from the Navy came to the venue and paid their last respects and honour him with with wreath, flowers and kind words.
LAST RESPECTS
Ajith and Archana performed the last rituals at the basement of their apartment and at the Crematorium at the foot of Chamundi Hills, Mysuru.
Me, Prasad Sir, Madhusudan Talithaya, S V Bhat went in the morning to Mysusu, with Prasad's car with driver to attend the ceremony. Dr Mohan and wife Satya also were present, since we all spent good times together for many years in Dubai, Bengaluru and Mysuru.
Lost a good frined and a weel wisher, and he will be now only in memories.

I was deeply saddened to say the final goodbye to my dear friend Suresh.But I am grateful that I could be there with our other common friends to honour and celebrate his life. Although it was hard, attending the religious obsequies performed with respect, love and devotion by his children Ajith and Archana, helped me remember how much my friend Suresh meant to all of us. It was a painful day, but being there gave me comfort and closure.It reminded me of the moments that made our friendship special
May God Rest His Soul in Perfect Peace, and give him Sadghathi.
