A DAY WITH GRAND CHILDREN

Celesta Sallaprpuria Apartment, K R Puram, Bengaluru

It was Saturday, we decided to go to son  Ravi's apartemt at BhatraHalli, K R Puram, a distance of 15 km from here.

Ravi's daughter "URVI" , going to be 4 years next month, was hiding behind, then with a big noise, announcing "I am here"

Later Daughter Shubha-Raghu came, had lunch together.

By 4 pm son Rishi came with his son "ATHARV" , going to be 4 years this months, and the two were very excited.

It was their time, as if nowhere else, both playing with toys, running behind, want the same toy, little fight, quarrel, then after few minutes together again running behind each other.

By 7 pm we left from there, it was raining, and we reached home.

It was time to recollect our childhood days, ....Can't remember a thing.....

FAMILY GET-TOGETHER

That get-together was to confirm the marriage propoasal for Sanjeev Bidarahalli, 

Get-together of Bidarahalli family and girls family Ajith, wife and son Abhishek and other relatives.

We were there as relatives, as Sanjeev is brother of Vidya, Ravi's wife.

After the small ceremony, and then Maha Mangalarathi to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.

Grand lunch at the basement of the Mutt.

Dispersed after lunch.

GET-TOGETHER with MYTHRI- PRITHVI

SATTVAM Restaurant, Sadashivanagara, Bengaluru.

Mythri, D/O Usha - Suresh Kumar and Prithvi, S/O of Vijayalakshmi- Sudhakar G. P. organized a GET-TOGETHER with relatives, friiends and well wishers at the terrace of famous Sattvam Restaurant at Sadashivanagara.

Husband and wife Prithvi & Mythri are working in USA, were at Bengaluru on holidays.

Large number of friends and relatives of both Suresh and Sudhakar were present, many are seen catching up with events happening in their family and in general.

Lahari, grand daughter, student of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT< Bengaluru) was seen enjoying with friend Aditi.

Tasty starters and soup were served by waiters and people were busy enjoying the food.

Large number of main food items were displayed catering to taste of all people , they were selecting the items  and seen enjoying.

It was relaxing and enjoyable lumch time with delicious food, Then after 2 pm people started to leave.

GET-TOGETHER - MGM COLLEGE FRIENDS

Go Native Restaurant, Lavelle Road, Begaluru.

Whenever Dr Jayarama Shetty comes from San Francisco, USA, we have a get-gether to remember those good old days of M G M College at Udupi.

All are in late 70's and it's fun talking about our bachelor days of staying in Kamath's compound rooms in Kalsanka, Udupi.

Shetty explaining about new drink "Kampucha", healthy drink.

Jayarama Shetty, completed his research at CFTRI, Mysusru, way back 73-74 and got his Ph D degree and the proceeded to USA  to work, and now citizen of America.

There were Jayarama Shetty, wife Shashikala, and her two sisters,

Jayarama Soamayaji, Wife Nalini,

Suresh Prabhu an wife Malathi,

Ramachandra Somayaji, wife Harini,

We had number dishes and drinks ordered including Kampucha, Ginger and Mango, and taste was good, though we were not familiar with that.

Ramachandra and Harini accompaied us to the Restaurant, about 13 km from Hebbal.

It was memeorable get-together and the memories to cherish.

The other friends of the gang met at Ocean Pearl Hotel at Udupi on 2/12/2024

LEKHA - GET-TOGETHER FOR SAMBHRAMA

Birthimane, Bhuvaneshwarinagara, Bengaluru

The get-together was to celebrate "Baby Shower" (Basri - Oota) for Lekha, D-I-L of Sandhya Sadaram, who in turn is Son-in-Law of my brother Late Seetharama Somayaji.

Nagaraj-Shantala, my sister Nagaveni's son and sose,joined, 

Rishi, Kavitha and Atharv and Rajagopalan also joined.

Nice, Yummy food was prepared by Mom, Coriandor leaves rice, majjige huli, Rasam, white rice, Beetroot palya, Corn Kosambari, Mosaru (Curd)

Sweet: Paradi Payasa, Badam Burfi.

After spending some time talking, they left by 5pm

BIRTH DAY GET-TOGETHER

White Garden Vegetarian Restaurant, KalyanaNagara, Bengaluru.

That was a family get-together and dinner for celebrating Mom's Happy Birthday.

That was a pleasant evening together for dinner, came from different parts of Bengaluru.

We, from Bhuvaneshwarinagar, Hebbal, Bengaluru

Shubha, Raghu, Lahari from Ramanjaneyanagar, Chikkalasandra, Bengaluru.

Ravi, Vidya, Urvi from Celesta Apartment, K R Puram, Bengaluru,

Rishi, Kavitha,  Atharv from I-Life Apartment, Devarabeesanahalli, Bengaluru.

There was cake ordered from the hotel, and cut with Uravi & Atharv jopining.

Lahari, who joined NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) last week, excited about her college and the friends and the activities.

Number of different food items were ordered, and everyone enjoyed the food.

That was good two hours spent together, memories to cherish.
