There is priest performing pooja and mangalarathi and we were there for a short visit.

Hunsur

Mutu Mareyeman is "Grama Devathe" of people in Hunsur.

The temple has been there in the middle of old Hunsur and people visit the temple and get blessings since long for the welfare, health and prosperity of the family.

As we were in Hunsur for the weekend, morning after bath, went to visit the temple.

It has been renovated not long ago and premises is clean and neat, lot of painting and decoration on the walls and appeared good place to sit and meditate, if there is no crowd.

We spent some time there, enjoying the place and left.

VISIT TO CUBBON PARK

CUBBON PARK, BENGALURU

It is after a long time we are visiting Cubbon Park.

We went from our house here, Rishi, Kavitha, Atharv and Senna came from their place.

Spent some time walking around, lots people and dogs, as people are coming after the pandemic appears to be subsided.

Moms story telling sessions were there. After spending about an hour and half, we proceded to Nisarga Restaurant for breakfast.

Returned after having Idli, vada, dahi vada, masala dose etc.

Nice time spent.

Anupama Hariprasad Rao also family friend and well wishers from our Dubai days.

They are common friends with Raviraj Tantry. 

Their palatial house house is about 12 Kms from here near Bagalur Cross.

So we went with Raviraj Pratima in our car in the evening spent some time there.

Anupama and her son Abhinav live in the Five Star house, and Hariprasad works in Dubai visits often.

In Feb 2020, we went to their Gruha Praveshaand had grand lunch.

Raviraj Tantry, wife Pratima been close friend during our Dubai years.

Raviraj is good singer, participated in many programs and also a mridangist.

His parents live in Udupi, near M G M College. He is on leave and enjoying his holidays.

It was nice of them to visit us on Saturday and had good time having lunch, chatting, remembering Dubai days.

SRI ARKESHWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

Hale yadatore Village of Krishnarajanagara Taluk in Mysuru District.

Sri Arkeshwara Swamy Temple in Haleyadatore Village of KrishnarajaNagara Taluk in Mysuru district, was built in the 12th Century during Cholas. It is about 4 km from Krishnarajanagara and about 44 km from Mysuru.

It is believed  that when some one bitten by snake or any snake related disease, or Nagarasonku, it will be cured by visiting the temple and applying mud from the mruttige and taking Srigandha tirtha Prasada.

The temple is in Cauvery river banks and steps are there leading to the temple.

The temple is Dravidian Architecture, more than 1000 years during the era of Kulottunga Chola, and presently the temple is under renovation,
