ಬೃಹತ್ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಒಲೆ, ಮೇಲೊಂದು ಕಪ್ಪಗಿನ ಬಾಣಲೆ, ಇನ್ನೇನು ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ಬಡಿಯುವ ಪರಿಮಳ. ಇದುವೇ ಆಲೆಮನೆ ಬೆಲ್ಲದ (Special Jaggery) ತಯಾರಿಯ ಶೈಲಿ.. ಆದ್ರೀಗ ಬೆಲ್ಲ ತಯಾರಕರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಅಚ್ಚು ಕಹಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಹಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ಕಬ್ಬು ಬೆಳೆಗಾರರಲ್ಲೂ ನಿರಾಶೆ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಆಲೆಮನೆ ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಶೈಲಿಯೇ ಹೀಗೆ. 

ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯಿಂದ  ಕಬ್ಬು ಸಿಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಬೆಲ್ಲ ತಯಾರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಅಂದು ನಾವು ಈ ಪರಿಯ ಬೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಾರಕೂರು, ಮತ್ತು ಸನಿಹದ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ ಕುದುರಿಗೆ ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಓರ್ವ ಬೆಲ್ಲ ತಯಾರಕನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಲೆ ಮನೆ ಬೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಖರೀದಿಸಿದೆವು.

ಒಂದು ಬಾಕ್ಹಿಗೆ 100 ರುಪಾಯಿ.

We were there last Sunday morning to see and Mom also bought some items.

ಹಲವಾರು ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕರು ಸೇರಿ, ವೀರಲೋಕ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಅವರ ಸಾರಥ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿದ ಮೂರು ದಿನದ "ಚಿತ್ರ ಸಂತೆ" ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನವೋ ಜನ. ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ, ವೀರಲೋಕ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಅಂತೂ ಅದೊಂದು ಸಂತೆಯೇ....

ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಹನಾ ವಿಜಯಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಬ್ರಹತ್ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ "ಮಾಗಧ", 

(772 ಪುಟಗಳು, ಬೆಲೆ  ರೂ. 915)  ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಭಂಡಾರ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರತರಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಆಧ್ಯಯನ, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ, ನೇಪಾಳ, ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಬರೆದ ಬ್ರಹತ್ ಕೃತಿ "ಮಾಗಧ"

ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಕಾರ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಹನಾ ವಿಜಯಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸಂವಾದ.

ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ನಂತರ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ.

NAVARATRI FESTIVAL 2024 - DOLLS EXHIBITION

There was a themed exhibition of Dolls, as part of Navaratri Festival at the auditorium of Shri Jagadguru Bharatitheertha SabhaBhavana, at HRBR Layout, Bengaluru.

Well decorated, wel planned and executed themes from Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Dashavathara and other stories from Bhagavatha, displayed beautifully.

Congratulations to all who put in lot of effort to show the contents.

DIDAC INDIA 2023 - EDUCATION EXHIBITION

We were at the  13th Edition of  DIDAC INDIA, Asia's largest and India's only Exhibition and Conference dedicated the Education and skill sector.

There were 271 exhibitors from all over India and Abroad.

13 Companies from Germany,

3 companies from Japan,

5 from New South Wales,

7 from Singapore

4 from United Kingdom,

20 from Australia

India DIDACTICS Association is the Exclusive membership Associationin the country for the Education and skills freternity, engaged in improving learning and teaching.

The areas include School Education, Higher Education, Skill Development, Education Technology, Policy Advocacy, Capacity Development, Exhibitions and Conferences.

The stall of Xperimentor had many exhibits for students learning by doing experiments with the gadgets provided.

The centre was a huge place, and it was tiring as we had passed the stage of new learning as it is difficut to comprehend the new gadgets amd process.

However it was quite educative and informative.

The car parking facility is far and the place had no Valet parking.

BENGALURU MARATHON 2023 - EXHIBITION

 Saturday, 7th October 2023

That was venue / echibition of Bengaluru Marathon 2023, mear M G Road, for collecting Bib (Number tag) for Marathon o 8th Oct. Starting at Kanteerava Stadium.

It was high point event for yougsters, athletes, and running enthusiasts.

Three categories of Marathon:

Full marathon : 42.2 Km

Half Marathon : 21.09 Km

General : 5 Km Run

General body fitness in vital for participating in the marathon.

We had been to exhition centre for collecting Bib for Rishikanth participating in 5 K run

Lot exhibits from the sponsors.

Spent some time and returned.

ಖಾದಿ ಉತ್ಸವ 2023 - ಎರಡನೇ ಭೇಟಿ.

 ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ 26, 2023 , ಭಾನುವಾರ 

ತ್ರಿಪುರ ವಾಹಿನಿ, ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು.

ಖಾದಿ ಉತ್ಸವ 2023  - ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಖಾದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೋದ್ಯೋಗ ವಸ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟ.

ಇದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಖಾದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೋದ್ಯೋಗ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ 28 ದಿನಗಳ ವಸ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಇಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪನ್ನ ಗೊಂಡಿತು.

ನಾವು ಇಂದು ಸಂಜೆ ಸುಮಾರು 2 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸುತ್ತಾಡಿ ಹಲವಾರು ವಸ್ತುಗಳು, ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕುರ್ತಾ, ಸೀರೆಗಳು, ಜುಬ್ಬ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು ರೂ. 10000 ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿ  ಖರೀದಿಸಿದೆವು .

ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದೊಂದು ಸುವರ್ಣ ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಈ ಉತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರತೀ ವರ್ಷವೂ ನಡೆದು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಆಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಆಶಯ,

ಬರೆದಿರುವುದು. 1/3/2023 

KHAADI UTSAV 2023 (ಖಾದಿ ಉತ್ಸವ)

Tripura Vahini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.

That was an event organized by Karnataka Government Khadi and Rural Employment Mandali at Palace Gounds.

More than 200 shops, from various palces of Karnataka were displayed with whares and goods.

Merchandise varied from dresses, sarees,  handbags, local madicines, decorative items and many more.

UPI payments was difficult as network was very difficult.

However, we purchased few items and spent about two hours.
