Deeply saddened to inform   about the death of Udaya Shankar Rao, Lekha's father yesterday evening. 

The lsst rites will take place today mng at Hindu Rudrabhumi, chamarajpet, TR Mills from 9.30 am.

Lekha (Sachin's wife) is D-I-L of Sadaram.

It's unfortunate that lost his life after a brief illness.

Our deepest condolences to the bereaved familyand May God give strength and rest the departed soul in perfect peace.

Dr Vishwanath Kedlaya

A shocking news this morning is the passing away of young Dental Doctor, in mid fifties, due to cardiac arrest.

He is elder son of Late Prabhakar Kedlaya (my mother's, brother's son), and Vatsala. There were in Abudhabi, Dubai, He is survived by his wife Krupa and son Abhinav.(14 years)

He also worked as Dentist at Bandar Seri Bhagavan, Brunei, for some years and about five years ago he returned to Bengaluru and established a Dental Clinic at Banashankari/Jayanagara.

We have attended so many functions with the family and he was quite a God fearing person and was taking care of parents with sincerity.

Sometimes I feel, Fate is so cruel, it takes away people who are hale and healthy and people who are suffering with ailments continue to suffer.

Your leaving this material world Vishwanatha, feeling very very sad....

Pray for your soul to rest in peace, and God Almighty give strength to the family to bear this loss.

Daughter Shubha's husband Raghu's eldest brother passed away at Hebri, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Rajani, son NischayBhat.

Also his parents Chidambara Bhat and Srimathi.

A man who was full of life, laughs and make others to laugh, sad to hear is no more.

ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಅಚ್ಚು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿನವರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಇನ್ನಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುವುದು ನಂಬಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ

ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ  2022 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರತಿ ಘಟಿಕರ ಅವರ ಮಗನ ಮದುವೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದ ಜೆಪಿ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ತೆಗೆದ ಫೋಟೋಗಳು....

ಈ (ಇ) ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್‌ ಸದಾ ಹೃದಯಾಳದಿಂದ ನಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸುಂದರ ಹೃದಯಿ. ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಇವರ ಕಂಗಳು, ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಆಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮುವ ಕಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ, ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

'ಜಹಾಪನ' ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಮೊನ್ನೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್‌ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಸು ನಗುತ್ತ ಬೆರೆಯುತ್ತ, ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಟೀಕಿಸದೆ, ತಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತ, ಬರೆಯುತ್ತ ಬದುಕುವ ರೀತಿಯೇ ಸೊಗಸಿನದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಜಹಾಪನ, ನಿಜ ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.

"ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಟ್ರು" ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಮಿಷದೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಓದಿದಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಅವರ ಮೆಸೆಂಜರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ 'ಹಲೋ" ಎಂದೆ. ಎಂದೂ ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ!

ನಾನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನನ್ನ ಅನೇಕ ಪರಿಚಯಸ್ಥರೊಡನೆ ಫೋಟೊ ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಅವರೆ. ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇಟಿ ಆದಾಗ ಒಂದು ಸೆಲ್ಫಿ ತೊಗೊಂಡು, "ಇರಿ ಇಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಮನ್ ಗೆಳೆಯ ಗೆಳತಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕಳಿಸಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಉರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂತಿದ್ರು".

ಅತಿಯಾದ ವಿಚಾರವಂತಿಕೆಗೆ ಎಡೆಕೊಡದೆ, ಸದಾ ಸರಳಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಗುರುತು ಪರಿಚಯ ಯಾವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಸನ್ಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ನಲಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಅವರ ಬದುಕು ಅಮರವೇ ಸರಿ.

ನಾನು ಅವರು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಫೇಸ್ಬುಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಫೋಟೊ ಹಾಕಿದರೆ, "ಬ್ರೊ, ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾನಾ?" ಅಂತ ಮೆಸೇಜ್ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ರು.

"ಜಹಾಪನ ಬ್ರೊ, ನೀವು ನನಗಿಂತ ಇಷ್ಟು ಚಿಕ್ಕವರು, ಹೀಗೆ ಹೋದದ್ದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾನ?"

ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ನಗ್ತಾ ಇರು ಜಹಾಪನ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಂತೂ ಅಮರ.

ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿರ ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸದ್ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವರು ಕರುಣಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ..

ARCHANA MANJUNATH - SHRADDHANJALI

Majunatha Holla, a relation and a well wisher, went through agonising days with his daughter Archana, who was suffering with ALS dicease for last three years.

That’s really sad to hear… Archana Manjunath (45)  battled sclerosis for three years, and passing away on January 31st must be heartbreaking for her family and friends. Losing someone after such a long illness leaves a deep void — she must have shown so much courage through it all.

Manjunath's message last month when Archana was on her death bed:

Archana's conversation with me. Search screen of TV is being used as an alphabet chart. 

To get one sentence , she has to blink her eyes for each character and line. 

She knows that her days are numbered, but not ready to go.

After bravely battling scleroderma for three years, she left us on January 31st. Her strength, grace, and gentle spirit will always be remembered. Heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. 

May her soul rest in peace. 🌹

There was grand lunch at Manjunath's House, Coffee Board Layout as Shraddhanjali, which I attended and condoled the family.

May her Soul Rest in Peace....

Felt very very sad to hear about the demise of charming, affectionate lady, Sarojini, after  a brief illness in Bengaluru on 18th Dec 2025.

She is the younger sister of my attige, Leela Somayaji, known her since the time of her Wedding with Srinivasa Tantry, who celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary recently.

We normally meet her in all the family functions, Homa, Pooja, Celebrations etc and she is always smarltly dressed, talks with no reservation.
