Murari (NagaBhooshana) Somayaji is my doddappa's (Subbanna Somayaji) son, who lived in Sringeri was one time distingushed man.

His father, Late Umanatha Somayaji was cloth merchant with a shop.

Shama is Murari's daughter, who got married to Arjun, IAS officer.

They were celebrating pregnency with relatives and friends at their apartment, for which we were invited. So we were there, a distance of 25 Km from here. 

FAMILY ENJOYING

There was buffette lunch with holige, badam puri and fruit salad/ice cream. after the celebrations.

We left the place after lunch,

SEEMANTHA - NAVYASHREE/HARSHA

Seemantha is traditional South Indian ceremony performed furing 7th, 8th month of pregnency, similar to Baby Showers in the western countries.

Its Harsha, s/o Renu Udupa, and Navyashree, Harsha's wife, celebrating motherhood and welcoming the unborn baby.

Though we reached late, it was just ontime for grand lunch, as there were many relatives, friends and wellwishers.

The Grand lunch (Feast) included sweets Phenis, Jelebi, Payasa, along with other usual items.

SEEMANTHA - LEKHA SACHIN

SEEMANTHA (Baby Showers) is celebration of a lady conceiving and ready to give birth to boy/girl.

Lekha, w/o Sachin Sadaram. 

Sadaram is son-in- law of Brother Late Seetharama Somayaji.

There was grand get-together with lot of relatives, friends and well wishers to celebrate.

There was grand lunch after the Shastra of Seemantha, with lot of vareities with pyausru paak, jahangir, paayasa, fruit salad etc.

SEEMANTHA - KAVANA RAMAKRISHNA

Ramakrishna is s/o of Nalini Sister, Sujatha, who lives in Udyavara with her husband Raghurama.

Ramakrishna married to Kavana in November 2020 and they are celebrating her being pregnent, expecting a baby soon.

Unfortunately, we could not go to ooru to join the celebrations due to my health issues.

The celebrations of Seemantha went on ver well with number of relations and friends present for the event.

Seemantha is celebration of pregnency of woman, relatives frineds get-together.

Murari Bhat is brother of Ramachandra Bhat, husband of Vijayalakshmi(Mom's sister) from Kadiyali.

We were invited for the event SEEMANTHA.

Grand Lunch was there with Laddu and Baadshah and other items as usual.

Supriya d/o of Vijayalakshmi with her baby Avyaan was there, and brother Santhosh.

After lunch returned home.

There were about 250 people joined the event and there was grand lunch as usual.

VIDYA PREGNECY CELEBRATIONS

BirthiMane, Bengaluru

It was time to celebrate pregnancy of Vidya,w/o Ravikanth Somayaji, who will be due for delivery in few weeks time.

Satyanarayana Pooja, Aarthi and grand lunch (OOTA) was organized at our house, Birthimane, Bengaluru, inviting family, relatives and well wishers.

Program started with Satyanarayana Pooja performed by Lakshminarayana Bhat with Ravi and Vidya as Sankalpa couple. 

Pooja, Kalasha, Abhisheka, Vishnu Sahasranama and Maha Mangalarathi followed by prayers for Sankalpa Siddi, good health and prosperity.

Thirtha Prasada and Sapatha were received by all present.

Ladies gathered at the second floor for AARTHI for the couple and blessings. 

Grand Lunch prepared and served by Naavuda and his team with holige, hayagreeva and Paayasa was arranged at the ground floor (Garage).

That was Happy celebrations.
