We were all there for the Grand Engagement ceremony at Gokula, Mangaluru on time.

Me, Mom, Ravi, daughter Urvi, Rishi, Kavitha and son Atharv.

Engagement Process, relatives of Boy and the girl sat and decide (pre decided) the date, time (muhurtham) and the place.

The date is decided 26th February 2026, at 11.30 am at Nandikooru Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Kalyana Mantapa., near Padubidri.

It was fun time with newly engaged couple, Santhosh and Ashwini,  exchanging rings, cutting cake, presenting bouquette.

It was a grand ceremony with more than 100 people, relatives, friends and well wishers.

After the ceremony, there was grand lunch with 2/3/ sweets with other usual items.

The same night we left for Bengaluru in the night KSRTC Bus, and reached next day early morning.

WEDDING ENGAGEMENT - NITHEESH/VAISHNAVI

 Friday, 5th September 2025

Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Bannanje, Udupi

Nitheesh is s/o Dinesh Rao Badekillaya, younger brother Nalini Chikkams (Mom). 

So we travlled to Udupi in the night of Thursday, 4th Sept. by Durgamba Motors, reaching Udyavara morning of 5th Sept.

Afternoon 4 pm we reached the venue, when traditional engagement proceedings have started.

After the photo session and friends fun, high was arranged with Kadubu, chuntney, Vegetable Shyavige, Beetroot halwa, more sweets, fruit salad, Avalakki mosaranna.

It was time to wish newly engaged couple NITHEESH-VAISHNAVI, all the best and God's Blessings.

We didnot go to the ceremony,  as the place is bit far.

VARSHA - NACHIKETH : WEDDING ENGAGEMENT

Varsha is dughter of  Vidya-Vishwanath Avabratha couple, who were close family frineds in those Dubai years.

We have seen Varsha as school going pretty, shy girl, now she has chosen Nachiketh, who works in Vancover, Canada.

Our Dubai friends, who are now relocated in Bengaluru were there,

Surya-Lakshmi, Tara-Sridhar, Latha Sudhaker, Udayakumar, Aakash, Varun...

Celebrating the event, grand lunch follows with Holige, badam Burfi and other items.

Wedding is fixed for Sunday February 23, 2025 at Guru Narasimha Kalyana Mantapa, Bengaluru.

WEDDING ENGAGEMENT - KAVYA/PAVAN

We were there at Ajantha Hotel for the wedding engagement of Kavya.

Kavya is daughter of LateVishwanath Latha Bhat ( grand daughter of Handadi Srinivas Lalitha Bhat)

Handadi Srinivas Bhat is son of my father's sister and Lalitha is daughter of my father's (Venkatramana Somayaji) brother Shankaranarayana Somayaji.

Traditional engagement procedure performed with purohiths and the exchange of rings.

High Tea followed with Poori, Rava Idli, payasa, sweet, ice cream.

Wishing the engaged couple Kavya-Pavan, Best wishes and God's Blessing.

Satyanarayana Rao/Bhat wrote and sent beautiful report about the event and relatives, well wishers and friends present.

ಉಡುಪಿ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ, ಸಾಲಿಕೇರಿ ಹತ್ತಿರದ "ಬಿರ್ತಿ" !! 

ಬಿರ್ತಿ ಜಯರಾಮ ಸೋಮಯಾಜಿ ಯೆನ್ನುವವರು ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಲಲಿತಮ್ಮನವರ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮಗ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  !! ನನಗಿಂತ8 ತಿಂಗಳು ದೋಡ್ಡವರು  !! (ನನಗೆ ಮಾಮ - ಅಮ್ಮನ ಕಜಿನ್)  !! 

ನಿನ್ನೆಯ ದಿನ (28-3-24 -ಗುರು ವಾರ) ಕಾವ್ಯನ (ನನ್ನ 4 ನೆಯ ಸಹೋದರ(ತಮ್ಮ) ದಿ. ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ(ಭಟ್) 

ರಾವ್ ಮಗಳು) ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಾರ್ಥಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಜಯರಾಮ ಸೋಮಯಾಜಿ ಮಾಮ ನವರು ಬಂದವರು

ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರ, ಸುಮಧುರ"Blogspot' ನ್ನು  ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಪೋಸ್ಚ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು, ನಿನ್ನೆ
