Prajwal is younger son of Shashi-Kishore, Grandson of Late Radhakka-IPS Nagappayya of Shivamogga, Late Radhakka is daughter of my father Late Veanktramana Somayaji's elder brother Late Shankaranarayana Somayaji, who was living at Sringeri.

Outside the Kalyana Mantapa, just 20 minutes drive from our house, has large space and very good ambiance and relaxing.

Inside the Kalyana Mantapa, large crowd of relatives, friends and well wishers.

The musicians with Naadaswara, Saxaphone, and drums were enthusiastically presenting the music.

There was as usual grand lunch (Bharjari Maduve Bhojana) with Pheni, MysuruPaak, paayasa, along with other items. Chapathi with Ennegaai was special.

Wished the newly married couple Prajwal-Rashmi, long and happy wedded life.

SRIRAKSHA/PAVANKUMAR- BEEGARA OUTHANA

Muddaana Sri Mahalingeshwara Devasthana, Inna, near Padubidri.

Traditionally, the next day of the wedding there is feast organized by groom's parents, called "BEEGARA OUTHANA". 

That took place at Muddaana Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple premises at Inna, 8 km from Padubidri. There was Sri Saynarayana Pooje, Aarathakshathe.

SRIPATH SOMAYAJI

Mostly relatives and wellwishers were present. Also there was grand feast with 2/3 sweets, paayasa with usual lunch items.

Wished the newly wedded couple, Long and Happy Married Life.

SRIRAKSHA - PAVAN KUMAR -: MADUVE

Sri RamachndrapuraMutha, Maani, Near Puttur, Dakshina Kannada.

The wedding celebrations continued in the morning after breakfast, with groom's party arriving and is welcomed by the bride's parents (ShubhaRamesh) and relatives and friends, and taken the groom to the stage.

As usual, there was grand lunch, feast with 2/3 sweets, after which we vacated from the room, left for Vamanjooru, near Mangaluru.

SRIRAKSHA MADUVE - GET-TOGETHER

 Day 1, Tuesday, 5th May 2026, Kalyana Mantapa, Mutt.

Sri Ramachndrapura Matha,Peraje,  Maani, Near Puttur, Dakshina Kannada.

GET-TOGETHER, EVENING 8 PM

SriRaksha's mother Shubha is daughter of my cousin brother, Late Ramakrishna Somayaji.  Shubha's husband Ramesh was living and working in Daubai for many years when we were also there.

We reached there by 6pm, having left from Udyavara at 3 pm, drove a distabce of 85 km, passing through Mangaluru.

Get-together was with songs, dances and dinner.

SISTERS - SRIRAKSHA, SRIPADA, SRIVIBHA

The highlight of the event waa Bride SriRaaksha, with her sister danced very well and the little daughter of Purushothama Somayaji (Shubha's brother) sang melodiously. and also he co-ordinated and compered the event.

There was dinner also and after which we rested in the room at the premises.

That was wedding reception/ Aarathakshate and Beegara Outhana.

VIJAYA, PRAMOD, SUBHASHINI, NALINI, SUMANGALI

The wedding took place earlier at Govinda Kalyana Mantapa, Udupi and Beegara Outhana for friends, relatives and well wishers.

As I could not get a driver, I drove to Vidyapeeta and returned with Nalini's sister Vijalakshmi and her husband.

We had to wait for more than hour for lunch to be served, as I was told they had shortage of manpower. However, there was holige, burfi along with other usual items.

Returned Home by 4 pm.

WEDDING - KRISHNAMOORTHY/MEGHNA

 Srishti  Vilas Resort, Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru

Krishnamoorthy is Grandson of Handadi Srinivasa Bhat/Lalitha and son Late Vishwanatha Bhat.

So we were there at the venue "SHRISTI VILAS"  by 11 am, by engaging a driver, a distance of 45 km from here. It's one and half hours journey.

The ocassion was to meet relatives, friends as it is time to join the sambhrma.

Halladi Nagaraj Kedlaya and his brothers Bhaskar, Sadashiva, Subramanya Rao from Hyderabad and his son Srinivas, the senior member of the family Handadi Satyanarayana Bhat, wife Krishnaveni, son Surya and many more.

Wedding was also show of fashion, new design and decor....

As usual there was grand Oota, holige, burfi, payasa, along with other items,  ice cream and beeda.

ಅಂತೂ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅತ್ಯಂತ‌‌ ಧೂಂ ಧಾಂ ವೈಭವ ರೀತಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಮನೋಲ್ಲಾಸ ವಾತಾವರಣ ದಲ್ಲಿ‌ ನಡಿಯ್ತು‌!!

ಔತಣ ಭೋಜನಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು !! ಐಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಮ್, ಬೀಡಾ, ತೆಂಗಿನ ಕಾಯಿ ಮಾಮೂಲೇ !! ಅಂತೂ 4 ದಿನದ ಮದುವೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ (ಸಮಾವರ್ತನೆ/ನಾಂದಿ,ಗೆಟ್ ಟುಗೇದರ್, ವಿವಾಹ ಬಂಧ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ, ಬೀಗರ ಕೂಟ ಔತಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೋತ್ರ ವಾಗಿ, ಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಅಶೇಷ‌ ಬಂಧು ಮಿತ್ರ ಗುರು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಮಕ್ಷ‌ ದಲ್ಲಿ, ವೈಭವೋ ಪೇತ ವಾಗಿ, ನಡಿಯ್ತು. !! ಜೈ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೋದಂಡ ರಾಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನೇ‌‌ ನಮ: !!
