It's Fifth September, Day to celebrate Teachers Day.....

All schools celebrate Teachers Day to remember BirthDay of Sri S Radhakrishna, Teacher First, then became President of India.

Here at Somayajis' Learning Centre, with few children, Teachers' Day was celebrated with games for children, distributed chocolates and sweets.

On the lighter side, just for laughs......

HAPPY TEACHERS DAY 2023

Every year 5th September is celebrated as TEACHERS DAY, to mark Birthday of 

Ex-President of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Ex-Teacher.

Schools all over celebrate with programs, Thanks giving to Teachers, and exchange greetings.

We at Somayaji's Learning Centre, celebrated with drawing and colouring activity for small number of children, highlighting "TeachersDay"

Cake, chocolates and books were given to children.

Chikdren were happy.

TEACHER'S DAY 2022 (ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ)

ಸೋಮವಾರ, 5 ಸಪ್ಟಂಬರ 2022  

ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ, ಮಾಜಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಸರ್ವೆಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕ್ರಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ.

ಶ್ರೀ ತಿರು ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ಅವರ ಫೇಸ್ ಬುಕ್ ಬರಹ :

ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು. ಬದುಕೇ ಒಂದು ಶಾಲೆ.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡಿದ - ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಬಳಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅಂತಹವರಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹಿರಿಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಕಿರಿಯರು ಎಂಬ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಅಕ್ಷರದ ಅನ್ವಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫೇಸ್ಬುಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ (ಕನ್ನಡದ‍ ಅಕ್ಷರದ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ). ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತಂದಿರಲಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಲ್ಲದಿದ್ರೂ ತಂದಿರಬಹುದು.

ಆದರೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಗೌರವ ಇಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇದು ಇಡೀ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಕೋರುವೆ

ಸಕಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೂ ಗೌರವಪೂರ್ವಕ ಶುಭಹಾರೈಕೆಗಳು.

ಉತ್ತಮ ಬರಹ, ಅತಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂದೇಶ:

ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಡನೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ಕೇಕ್ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವಿಕೆ....

Teachers and the learnt

'ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ' ಇದೇಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಿದೆಯೋ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಧಕರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಓದುವಾಗ ಅವರು ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಂದೆದ್ದು ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಎಂದು ಓದುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಶಿಸ್ತು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸಾಧನೆಯೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವೇ?

ಒಂದು ದೇಶ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪದಕ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಧನೆಯೇ? ಸಂಗೀತದಲ್ಲೋ, ಕಲೆಯಲ್ಲೋ ಕಠಿಣ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವರ ನಡೆ, ನಿಷ್ಠುರ ಗುಣ, ಅವಿಧೇಯತೆ, ಸಿಡುಕುತನ ಮುಂತಾದವು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗೆ ಮೀರಿದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಯಾರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಯ, ವಿನಯ, ಸುಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕ ಎನಿಸುವಂತಹ ಸರಳ-ಸುಂದರ-ಸಹಜ ಆಭರಣದಂತಹ ಮೆರುಗನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಅಪಾರ ಜನಪ್ರೀತಿ ಗಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಸುಳ್ಳಲ್ಲ.

TEACHERS' DAY: SEPTEMBER 2020

When looking back to service years, 40 years of my teacher career, spanning from 1970 to 2010, it was moulding the young minds, mentoring, facilitating and helping them to learn.

Started teaching Physics to Engineering students of Manipal Engineering College (Now MIT), and proceeded to Africa (Freetown, Sierra Leone) in 1971.It was Methodist Girls High School teaching Physics to tenth graders. After couple of years moved to Nigeria, to teach High students in Gombe, North Eastern State. After six years of teaching, shifted to Banjul, The Gambia, due to unfortunate incidence. The situation was not conducive, came back to Nigeria in 1980 to teach in General Murtala Mohammed College, Yola. Continued there for six years and then came to Dubai in 1986.

Teaching Physics in Our Own English High School till 2000, promoted as Supervisor and continued till 2010 till was re-located to Bengaluru.

Still teaching children to help to understand at home for evening pass-time.

Every year, September 5, celebrated throughout the world as Teachers' Day in memory of great Teacher, Philosopher, and former President of India, Dr S Radhakrishnan.

We were just remembering the years spent at various places as teachers.

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY 2019

Teachers' Day is celebrated all over world to pay tribute to Former President of India Dr S Radhakrishnan, a scholar and an ex-Teacher himself.

Schools celebrate the day with special programs to honour the Teachers and organize cultural programs and food to entertain the teachers.

Some schools also organize students taking the role of teachers for a day, senior students go to junior classes and teach.

Here at Somayajis' Learning Centre at BirthiMane, Bengaluru, Cake, chips chocolates for children and they sang HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY.

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY 2018

Bengaluru.

Every year, Teachers' Day is observed in India and abroad to celebrate BirthDay of Dr SarvePalli RadhaKrishnan, who was a Teacher and became President of India.

Most of the schools have celebrations and programs to observe Teachers' day. Some have cultural and entertainment program, students acting as teachers for the day, preparing cards, pencil stands, paper flowers for showing affection to teachers.

Here at, Somayaji's learning Centre, we had cutting of cake prepared by Nalini Somayaji and a small fun and games for children. Chocolates were given to children and they enjoyed the celebrattions.

5TH SEPTEMBER 2014

Children of our Learning centre were highly excited on the evening of 4th September itself to celebrate Teachers day.

They wanted to be highly secretive, brought cake, chips, chocolates and pepsi.....

They al organized to have good time ..... it's all their initiative, thoughts and interest..... to honour and celebrate....

About 20 minutes of our learning time was spent, cut the cake, distributed, drank pepsi, wished us and that's it......

Teachers day celebrated..... HAPPY.....

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY 2012

5th September 2012,

Suma Public School, Kempapura, Bengaluru.

Mr C A Ramesh, Principal of Suma Public School, Kempapura, not so big and not in a good building became a friend. He invited me for taking classes to board examinations students sometime back and he was happy. I didn't take any remunerations for the classes taken.
Last week suddenly appeared at BirthiMane with some students and invited me to the School function and said I can talk about our ABACUS classes.
The next day morning, when I was there in the school, it was a big surprise for me, as I was one of dignitary   for the function, which included Teachers' day celebration, Inauguration of Educomp Smart Board inauguration and Parents Meeting etc etc......

There was formal welcome, lighting of lamp, students speeches and speeches from most of the people sitting on the dias. However, I also had speak wishing the very best for new facilities installed and everyone to make the best use of it.
There were others who spoke on various issues including, ragging, good behaviour, and respect teachers and elders.
However, I failed to make an impact for the publicity of ABACUS CENTRE.
Anyway, it was good public, local recognition.
