66th REPUBLIC DAY - JANUARY 26, 2015

26TH JANUARY 2015
COFFEEBOARD PARK, BENGALURU

Another Republic Day has come and gone....... this time it's 66th Republic Day....... It was on 26th January 1950, India attained the Sovereign Republic status...... 65 years have passed.... India under the rule of once mighty Congress Party apparently coming to end......  Basic issues like poverty, education, health facilities, rural development remains a distant dream......
Bharatiya Janatha Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is showing some signs of hope and aspirations of large number of Indians. The man has charishma, ability, forward thinking and the will to do positive things to improve the conditions of the country......  Even the prisident of mighty United States of America, Mr Barak Obama was present as Chief Guest at the Republic Day Celebrations at Delhi.

Here at Coffee Board Layout Park near Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, a small flaghoisting ceremony was arranged at 8.00am..... with only 25-30 people and some school children present...... President of Kannada Sahitya Parishth, Byatarayapura unit expressed dissatisafaction about peoples' arttitude for attending such functions. Atleast nearby parents with children can make an effort to bring theirchildren and expose them to such National events.....

However, after the flag hoisting, there were speeches from children about Republic Day. Wing Commader (Retd) Balaram Aithal was the chief guest and hoisted the national flag and National Anthem followed.
