NAVARATRI SPECIAL

As it is NAVARATRI days, special bhajans on SHREE MAATA (DEVI) were rendered and importance of DEVI on nine different days.

Mythalogical stories of nine Devi who fought for Dharma and killed Asuraas at various times. 

Day 1- Maa Shailaputri

Day 2 - Maa Brahmacharini

Day 3 - Maa ChandraGhanta

Day 4 - Maa Kushmaanda

Day 5 - Maa SkandaMaata

Day 6 - Maa Kaatyayini

Day 7 - Maa Kaalaraatri

Day 8 - Maa MahaaGowri

Day 9 - Maa SiddiDhatri.

Story of Devi SkandaMaata was read out , prayed for good health and speedy recovery.

With the Bhajane "Bhaagyada Lakshmi Baaramma..." and Aarathi with song "Devigaarathi....", the session concluded.

Vibhoothi was given and Prasada (Prepared from home) was distributed.

Bhajan / Satsang at Sunandi Vraddhashrama took place with Sri Ramakrishna Bhat's presence, with residents actively participating and singing Bhajans.

In his Upanyasa for the day, Sri Ramakrishna Bhat highlighted the importance of "PITRU PAKSHA"  and the story of Rakshasa Gayasura.

The session eneded with Mangalarathi, distrbution of Vibhoothi and Prasada, brought from Home.

This week's bhajane took place with Jatthappa together, as Ramakrishna Bhat was out of station.

Residents of the centre, actively participated with Namasmarane and singing Bhajnas.

The importance about "Pitru Paksha" was read, after which AARTHI  was performed, vibhoothi and Prasada (Kesribaath) made from home was distributed.

Another session of Bhajan/Satsang took place to the inmates of Sunandi Oldage Care Centre at KodigeHalli, Bengaluru.

The residents were enthusiastic to sing bhajane and each one was with devotion and dedication.

The session concluded with Upanyasa by Ramakrishna Bhat "Love is God",  love yourself, love others.

After mangalarathi, Vibhoothi, Prasada were given to all.

Ganesha Festival Celebrations going on everywhere, Sunandi Eldercare Centre also celebrated, with beautiful Ganesha installed on Ganesha Chaturthi Day on Monday and today's Bhajan Satsang focussed on singing Ganesha bhakthi Geethegalu.

Ramakrishna Bhat in is Upanyasa, highlighted the matter of on Ganesha Chaturthi Day, one should not see the moon and thr story of Jambavabtha...

Our Thursday Bhajane / Satsang program at Sunandi Oldage Care Center took place earnestly with Ramakrishna Bhat (ParaBrahma VittalaDasa) 

Special mention was made about SRI KRISHNA JANMASTAMI, coming the following day, and the Bhajans were sung mostly on SRI KRISHNA.

Aarthi was performed after a short Upanyasa by Bhat about Krishna Janmasthami and abandon KAAMA, KRODHA, MOHA, LOBHA, MADA, MATSARA...to achieve Moksha.

Another session of devotional singing with elderly residents of Sunandi Oldage Home happened with some of the inmates actively participating.

As usual the session starts with Dhyana for a minute, the Omkaara three times and then Ganesha Stuthi, and prayers of all dieties.

In his Upanyasa for the session, Ramakrishna Bhat conveyed stories from Mahabharatha and also about Guru Poornima, and the role of Guru (Teacher in one's life. After witch Mangalarathi, Vibhoothi and Prasada from home.
