 ವಸುದೈವಕುಟುಂಬಕಂ!

ಓರ್ವ ತಂದೆಯು ಅಂಗಡಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಶ್ವದ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಗನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಆ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿ ಹರಿದು ಹಾಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ತಂದೆಗೆ ವಿಪರೀತ ಕೋಪ ಬಂದು ಮಗನ ಮೇಲೆ ರೇಗಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಮಗನು ಶಾಂತನಾಗಿ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ, “ಅಪ್ಪ! ನೀವೇನೂ ಚಿಂತಿಸಬೇಡಿ. ನಾನು ಕೆಲವೇ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೋಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ”. ತಂದೆಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ! ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಗನು ಹರಿದುಹೋಗಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸಬಲ್ಲ?! ಎಂದು

ಮಗ ಅವನ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಕೆಲವು ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ಹೊರಬಂದು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ವಿಶ್ವದ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ತಂದೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ನಂಬದಾದನು. ‘ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸಿದೆ?’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಮಗ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ. ‘ಈ ನಕ್ಷೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಂದು ತಂದೆ, ತಾಯಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಚಿತ್ರವಿತ್ತು. ನಾನು ಆ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವ ನಕ್ಷೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿತ್ತು!’ ಎಂದು.

ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಶ್ವವು ಒಂದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾದ-ವಿವಾದಗಳು, ಘರ್ಷಣೆಗಳು, ಕೋಪ-ತಾಪಗಳಿದ್ದು, ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೊರಡುವುದು ಮೂರ್ಖತನ. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ, ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ, ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟು, ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮನೋಭಾವಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಖ-ಶಾಂತಿಗಳು ನೆಲೆಸಬಲ್ಲವು.

'ಅಪ್ಪಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮ್ಮಾ.., ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ' ಎಂಬ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮನದ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ Father And Mother I Love You ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಮೊದಲ ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸಿಗುವುದು FAMILY ಅಂದರೆ 'ಕುಟುಂಬ!'. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದತ್ತ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಿ, ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮಧುರವಾಗಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬವಾದ ಈ ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಇಬ್ಬರು ದರೋಡೆಕೊರರಿಂದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ 🏠 ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ದರೋಡೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. 

ಒಬ್ಬ ದರೊಡೆಕೋರ ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ:- "ಯಾರೊಬ್ರೂ ಒಂದು ಚೂರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಬೇಡಿ. ನಿಂತಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಿ. ಈ ಹಣ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೆ, ಆದ್ರೆ ಜೀವ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತದ್ದು. ಹುಷಾರ್"... 

( ಇದನ್ನು ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ "ಮೈಂಡ್ ಚೇಂಜಿಂಗ್ ಕಾನ್ಸೆಪ್ಟ್" ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಂದ್ರೆ, ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ. )

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಬಗ್ಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು...

ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವರ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳದೇ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದಳು. ಆಗ ಆ ದರೊಡೆಕೋರ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ದರೋಡೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ರೇಪ್ ಅಲ್ಲ...

(ಇದನ್ನು ಬೀಯಿಂಗ್ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಷನಲ್ ಅಂತಾರೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಕೆಲಸದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸುವುದು. ಬೇರೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದಿರುವುದು...)

ದರೋಡೆ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಹಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದಾಗ ಏನೂ ಓದದ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಳ್ಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಓದಿದ್ದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಳ್ಳನಿಗೆ "ಕದ್ದ ಹಣ ಎಷ್ಟಿದೆ ಅಂತ ಎಣಿಸೋಣ" ಅಂದ...

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಳ್ಳ (6 ನೆ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ಓದಿದ್ದ) ಹೇಳಿದ "ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ದುಡ್ಡು ಎಣಿಸೋಕೆ ಪೂರ್ತಿ ದಿನ ಬೇಕು ಅದರ ಬದಲು ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ನೋಡಿದ್ರೆ ಅವ್ರೇ ಹೇಳ್ತಾರೆ ಬಿಡು. ಎಷ್ಟಿದೆ ಅಂತ" ಅಂದ..

ಇದು ಅನುಭವ (expeerience) ಈಗಿನ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಗುಣ...)

ಇದಾದನಂತರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ superviser ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ "ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಗೆ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡೋಣ" ಅಂತ. ಆಗ superviser ಹೇಳಿದ "ತಡೆಯಿರಿ. ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ನಾವು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸ್ವಂತಕ್ಕೆ 70 ಲಕ್ಷ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅದರ ಜೊತೆ ಇನ್ನೂ 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಮೇಲೇ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕರೆಸಿದ್ರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆದು ಅಲ್ವೇ"... ಅಂದ......

( ಇದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಿಮ್ ವಿಥ್ ದ ಟೈಡ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಅಲೆಯ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜುವುದು ಅಂತ. ಎಂತಹದೇ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುವುದು ಅಂತ..)

ಮರುದಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಚಾನಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರೇಕಿಂಗ್ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ "ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನಿಂದ 1 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹಣ ದರೋಡೆ" ಅಂತ ಸುದ್ದಿ......

ಕಳ್ಳರು ಗಾಬರಿಯಿಂದ 10 ಸಾರಿ ಎಣಿಸಿದರೂ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದು 20 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಾತ್ರ.. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅರಿವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನಂದ್ರೆ ನಾವು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಪಣಕ್ಕಿಟ್ಟು 20 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕದ್ದೆವು ಆದ್ರೆ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ & superviser ಏನೂ ಕಷ್ಟ ಪಡದೆ 80 ಲಕ್ಷ ಗಳಿಸಿದರು...

 Tongue in Teeth

Strolling through the streets of Lanka at night, Hanuman was taken aback when he heard the chants of Sriram coming from a home. 

They were not loud but whispers through the windows.

 Hanuman wondered who could be chanting my Lord's name in the city ruled by Ravan. 

The house had a cluster of Tulsi plants outside and the walls had signs of Sri Hari.

Just then a man opened the front door and came out chanting the holy name . 

The sky was starlit and it was couple of hours before dawn.

 The man offered water to the Tulsi plants while performing a circumambulation.

 Hanuman hopped and stood before him folding his hands. 

The man introduced himself as Vibhishana, brother of Ravan.

Hanuman asked "it baffles me"  you are a devotee and a noble soul. 

How on earth you live among the demons?"

Vibhishan smiled and said "just as the tongue lives in the mouth"

With thirty two teeth biting and grinding, around it, not only does the tongue remain untouched, it enjoys all the taste.

 The very food that sits and rolls on the tongue is chewed to a pulp by the teeth and yet this snaky little thing escapes unscathed. 

Only time it is hurt is when we have a lapse of mindfulness.

Why?

Philosophically the chief difference is flexibility. 

The tongue's  flexibility is the key to its longevity. That's why it gets the taste while the teeth get root canals and cavities They fall too or are pulled out!.but no one loses their tongue.

The tongue teaches..others may grind and bite but you can still enjoy life if you are flexible.

Everything will hurt less, bother less if we loosen up a bit..then an avalanche of peace and joy is triggered.

Speak sweetly, respectfully.  The world around cares for truth but it cares a lot more about how you tell the truth.

If you want lasting peace and joy learn from your tongue and live like it.

Befriend it, tame it..

It has a great bearing on your relationships.
