RISHI'S NEW CAR - MAHINDRA XUV 700

Rishi with Kavitha, Atharva and Seenu received Brand New Car Mahindra XUV 700 today from the showroom, We were there.

CONGRATULATIONS.....

It's a beautiful, heavy XUV car which can run beatifully on road.

We were there to celebrate and share the joy of arrival of new car at the showroom at Marthahalli.

That was a nice and happy feeling of Rishikanth getting a brand new XUV car.

Once again SAFE DRIVING and HAPPY MOTORING.

RAVIAN'S NEW CAR

A new car "VOLKSWAGEN TIGUN"  was received by Ravi ,Vidya and Urvi.

We were there to witness the event.

It's a beautiful, automatic gear, white sedan car with Dual Gear System (DGS)

It's at Volkswagen Car Show room at Mahadevapura, Bengaluru.

RISHI'S NEW CAR - BALENO

It's MaruthiSuzuki Baleno new model Auto-gear car from NEXA showroom along palace grounds .

road. Rishikanth booked the car I think about three months ago and after clearing the financing of the

car, it was ready for delivery.

So, we were there and Ravikanth also joined for the happy occasion of receiving the new car.

After the formalities, key was handed over, cake was cut for the celebrations and drove out.

Next was pooja at Ganapathi Temple at Sahakaranagar, we all went and completed the pooja by a

purohit and prayed for prosperity and safe ride in the car.

Back home after dinner at ADIGAS restaurant.

"TREASURE HUNT" Rally - Mahindra KUV100

It's about eight months since we bought the new Mahindra KUV100 (Young SUV) and we have been running around with it in Bengaluru City and outside the city. The vehicle is comfortable and majestic to drive. Though I was apprehensive about the low mileage in the beginning, after the first service, it has improved slightly.

Mahindra KUV has organized a "Treasure Hunt" event on Sunday 20th November 2016 and I got a call from the showroom and invited me to participate in the event. Though I didn't have a clue about the nature of the event I happily agreed to participate in the event. Rishikanth was also there and we reached venue of the event at 9am. Ravi and Vidya also joined as at the venue.

After the registration, there was a briefing by the organizers about the event. It is in the Time-Speed-Distance rally format and treasure hunt. The route instruction book was given a total reading, direction and the instructions.There were manual time control, treasure hunt to fill in the blanks in the event route.

Rishikanth was driver and Ravikanth was co-driver, guide and director. Appa, Nalini and Vidya were crew members.

After setting the ODO reading to zero at 10.45 am, we were flagged off from the hotel and the first stop was to re-fuel.


The route was cover a total distance of 47.90 Km and there were FIVE treasure hunt.

1) At a distance of 1.70km, Vegetarian Hotel Royal Orchard
2) at a distance of 6.25Km, you play Match Day
3) at 11.15 km, Electronic Institute at force station
4) at 17.45 km  HDFC ATM
5) at 24.55 Km , Bharti Farm

After refueling again at fuel station, we returned to the hotel premises by 1 pm. It was our first rally and was a pleasant drive in country roads and through villages.

Receiving the Prize

Winners were decided by the time limit and distance indicated and penalty points for reaching earlier.

Grand lunch was arranged by the organizers to all participants and their family.

Post lunch session was magic show for children and Prize distribution and feedback session.

To our surprise, we were called for receiving the prize in the first four winners. It was gift voucher for Shoppers Stop. There was also gift voucher for PVR cinemas for all participants.

It was a nice event and happy to have participated with all of us.

MAHINDRA KUV100 K6 (Young SUV)

Handing over

The idea of changing the car came about three months ago and search for the new car started at that time. Cost, comfortable, good mileage and look etc..... 

So finally settled for Mahindra KUV100, a new trend like young SUV and after taking a test drive at Shireesh Motors, Yalahanka, and booked for the car about two months ago.

It was last week the Sales Executive called to inform that the new car would be available within a week and I should arrange the finance for the car which was duly arranged through Karnataka Bank, BhuvaneshwariNagar, courtesy manager Gaurish Halambi.

Saturday after lunch with Ravi, Rishi and Mom went to Shireesh Motors ShowRoom and there everything was arranged for inauguration with cutting the tape and handing over ceremony by the sales executive.

It was a pleasant surprise. Formalities were finished and came home with all New KUV100 K6..

The next day Sunday, the sale executive came home to fix the number plate KA 50P 4538, later in the evening, the car was taken to GaneshTemple at SahakaraNagar for pooja and came back home.

NEW CAR HYUNDAI SANTRO - JULY 2007

The blog being written today for the New Car Bought in July 2007. (MEMORIES)

We were living in Marthahalli Apartment and the car was bought in Belandur.

Later Car Pooja was performed at ChikkalaSandra, Bengaluru.

The SANTRO car ran very well and we used for more tha 8 years sold it in 2016, when I bought another new Car Mahindra KUV100.

That is the story of SANTRO.
