Venugopal Tantry's son Aditya married to our good friemd Manohar Rao's daughter Sneha. On Manohar Rao's invitation, we joined the celbrations and oota.

The purohiths performed the rituals for the couple, "Kanakabhisheka"

Grand lunch (Bharjari Oota) followed the rituals and the blessings and Manthrakshathe. 

Feast chad holige, badam Halwa, paayasa alsong with other items.

We left after lunch.

ANANTHA TANTRY - SHSHTABDI SAMBHRAMA

Ananth and Sandhya Tantry are close family friends from our Dubai years.

He was celebrating his Shastabdi (60 yrs) with family, relatives and friends.

We stayed with them for few days in Dubai, last Atril, when we went to attend Dubai Brahmana Samaja "VISHATHI VAIBHAVA"

That was a also like get-together with long time friends from Dubai, Sudhaker Rao Pejavar and wife Latha, Madhusudan Talithaya and wife Pushpa.

There was grand lunch (Feast) after the celebrations with Holige, hayagreeva, Burfi with other normal items.

We also had the opportunity to meet Pejavara Swamiji, Parama Poojya Shri,Shri  VishwaPrasanna Tirtha Sreepadaru at Vidyapeeta and get his blessings.

SHASTABDI CELEBRATION - KESHAVA BHAT

Keshava Bhat is youngest son of Handadi Srinivasa Bhat/Lalitha

Handadi Srinivasa Bhat is the son my father's sister GangaBhagirathi.

Lalitha is daughter of my father's brother Saankaranarayana Somayaji.

ShasthiPoorthi/Shastabdi is celebration with family, relatives and well wishers for completing 60 useful years of one's life.

Keshava's eldest brother is Satyanarayana Bhat, wife Krishnaveni, who lives in Laggere, Bengaluru is very active in social media.

He was working at New medical Centre, Abudhabi for many years.

His son Dhanush was my student at Our OwnEnglish High School, Dubai.

Sri Raghavendra Acharya is celebrating his completing 70 yrs in hs life journey.

It was a grand function with many relatives, friends and well wishers.

Grand Feast was there with many sweets, ice cream, as usual in celbrations.

After lunch, drove back home.
