RISHI KAVITHA WEDDING ENGAGEMENT

Friday, 22nd May 2020
"SHREE NIDHI" NoorBagh Farm House, DoddaBallapur Road, Bengaluru.

Son, Rishikanth's wedding with Kavitha  was planned for May24, 2020, in December 2019, Wedding invitations were printed in beginning of March, but unfortunately, COVID19, Corona virus pandemic started and nationwide lockdown began on March 25.

We were not sure how long will this pandemic continue and hoping that the virus will subside in a month or two. But the "killer corona" was continuing spread more and more, lockdown 01, 02, 03 and 04 started. Governments started introducing stricter measure to control the pandemic.

Wearing of Mask, Social Distancing, avoiding crowds, traveling restrictions were imposed, Quarantine was forced. Trains suspended, air travel halted. "STAY HOME, STAY SAFE" was practiced. So Kavitha's parents coming from Hyderabad was doubtful.

However, they came to Bengaluru on  20th May and his friend and colleague Giridhar Kini's farm house was available for their stay and the venue for the wedding.

Friday, 22nd May 2020 was decided for engagement and Saturday, 23rd May was fixed for wedding.

Arrangements and fantastic decorations were made for the wedding engagement in the evening at 5 pm in the house.

Though we had to wait for sometime for completing their preparations, process of engagement was followed, invitations were exchanged by the parents, rings were exchanged by the bride and the groom. After high tea (tiffin) at the venue, the program ended and we left for BirthiMane Home.
