HAMTA PASS HIMALAYA TREKKING - KAVITHA

Kavitha, Daughter (In- Law), wife of son Rishi,  adventurous, daring, courageous, went for Himachala Pradesh Trekking at Hamta Pass, and completed successfuly.

Did push ups at 11000 ft after completing the summit.The glacier melts into streams and the water is ice cold 🥶 I dunked my face in the water every time I went down 🥶

I was "face under water" for about 15 seconds 🥶

Well done Kavitha, we are proud of you.

TREKKING - MINCHUKALLU BETTA

Minchukallu Betta, Near Tumkuru, Karnataka.

A group of trekking enthsiasts from the family, set for Minchukallu Betta in the morning in XUV 700 car, from Birthimane at 5.30 in the morning.

The trkkers included Atharv and Urvi, (Both four and half years)

D-I-L Kavitha and her father Rajagopalan

Nature's unveilling Sereneity Minchukallu Betta is about 90 Km from Bengaluru, in Tumkuru District.

The off beat moderate difficulty trek , starting from village of Gondibetta, unfolds as a journey through undulating hils, rocky pathways and tranquility of nature.

They all came back safely, exhausted , tired but Urvi and Atharv in full playing mode.

AVANI BETTA TREK

Avani Betta, Near Kolar Gold Field.

Our treking enthusiasts Mom, Rishi, Kavitha and little Athrav went trekking to Avani Betta, a place 92 km from Bengaluru on 19th Oct.2025

Avani Betta is also known for the Sita Temple situated on the top hill of this area. This popular temple is dedicated to the Devi Sita the most alluring character of the Ramayana. 

Avani Betta is more than just a trekking spot; it's steeped in mythology. According to legend, this hill was once the abode of the sage Valmiki, .

The Trek is generally considered easy to moderate, making it suitable for beginners and experienced trekkers alike. The trail is approximately 4-5 Km round trip and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete, including a climb of around 660 steps.

Though it was tiring, our trekkers enjoyed the trip.

KAIWARA BETTA TREK

Kaiwara, Near Bengaluru.

Sunday morning, Mom, Rishi, Rajagopal, Kavitha and litlle Atharv left for Kaiwara Betta Trek in the morning 6 am from Birthimane.

Kaiwara Betta Trek is considered to be from easy to moderate difficulty. The trail is about 4 - 5 kms and usually takes about 3 - 4 hours.

Kaiwara is a small village in Chikkballapur Dist, distance about 65 km from Bengaluru.It is also home for msny dmsll temples and historical sites.

The trail has rocky patches, forest trails, stone steps and lush greenery and scenic landsacpes. The altitude is about 3150 ft (960 m).

One can also see some animals like deer in the open and rabbits in the cage.

Todays's trekkers returned home exhausted but enjoyed at 6pm after having lunch/food at 4 pm. Well done, Good Job.

NANDI HILLS TREK

It's Mom, Rishi, Kavitha and Atharv decided to go for Nandi Hills trkking and climbing the steps.

The Nandi Hills trek is a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts near Bengaluru. It offers natural beauty, hisotry and spiritual guidance...

There area 1175 steps from the base to the top of the hills. It is generally considered easy to moderate in difficulty. One can take your own time, view the scenery, rest, have fun with friends, visit temples.

RAMENAHALLI BETTA - VISIT

Ramenahalli Betta, Near Hunsur.

OMKARESHWARA TEMPLE

About 6 Km from Hunsur, there is RamenaHalli Betta, and there are about 75 easy steps, without railings, to go up and also there is good road to drive up.

We were 9 people in XUV 700, Kavitha driving.

Me and Mom, Atharv, VijayaLakshmi and her husband, Satish Rao, wife Malathi, son Aditya

From the top of Betta (Hill), we could see beatiful sight of Sunset.

That was pleasant short trip, spending some time, darshan of OMKARESHWARA.
