Amateur Cultural Academy (ACA) Bengaluru were celebrating the completing 50 years of their activities.

Sri T N Seetharam, Kappanna were guests for the program.

Sri Kappanna briefly spoke about the beginning days of ACA and their activities humorously and how he was involved with them and their experiences.

Seetharam, celebrity serial director, currently running popular "MAGALU JANAKI" serial spoke at length about the earlier mega serials serials he produced like Manwantara, MuktaMuktha, and about the poets who wrote songs like K S NarasimhaMurthy, H S VenkateshMurthy and  the great composer and singer C Ashwath. Their contribution, dedication and love for music and of humanity.

Members of the Academy presented cultural program with music, songs for entertainment.

FUN TIME FOR CHILDREN

Somayaji's Learning Centre, BirthiMane, Bengaluru

Children were excited about the short holidays and tired of routine reading, writing and learning.

It was fun time and play time for them last of the year 2019.

They were also taken to CoffeeBoard Park for 45 minutes and were back.

Then they had some indoor table games like Ludo, Scrabble and Jenga and the enjoyed.

There was cutting of cake, prepared by Nalini Mam, chocolates, chips and pencil as gift.

That was pleasant time for children.

SATYANARAYANA POOJA - M C SHETTY

M C Shetty's residence, R T Nagara, Bengaluru.

Manjunatha C Shetty has been a friend, well wisher for many many years, from Dubai and Sharjah. He was close associate in Karnataka Sangha, Dubai activities, in the years 1989, 1990, when I was Secretary and Dr K N Mohan was President.

M C Shetty with his wife Lalitha relocated back to Bengaluru 3 -4 years back, built a grand house in R T Nagara. Their children, Asha and Abhishek, both married works and lives in USA.

They had organized Satyanarayana Pooja at their residence and we were there and many of his friends. After Mangalarathi, prasad was given.

Also there was grand lunch served on banana leaf, with pheni as special sweet.

Jai Jagadish, one time Kannada Film Actor, Producer, and Director,  and recently was in BIGG BOSS 2019 program, was also present.

RISHI HAPPY BIRTHDAY (30)

It is yet another year of Happy BirthDay to Rishi. Now that he has chosen his life partner, Kavitha, and she is becoming part of his life and she joined his Birthday party at his apartment with his friends and with parents at home in the evening at BirthMane.

The photographs and videos speak for itself enjoyment and fun that had celebrating his BirthDay.

The generation gap speaks as in those days, we never knew about the celebrations for birthdays and the at present it is fashion and reason for get-together and enjoy.

Time changes, NO.... attitudes changes, interest changes, and also LIFESTYLE...

NRUTYA KUTEERA - ANNUAL DAY

"NRUTYA KUTEERA" is one of the premier Music and Dance School in North Bengaluru. They have several branches in different places in Bengaluru and there are lot of parents seeking admission for their children, right from 6 years onwards.

Mrs Deepa Bhat, D/O B Putraya Bhat is the Director of the Institute and she herself is versatile dancer.

Last Sunday, 15th Dec. they had annual function for celebrating another year of successful completion of teaching Dance to the children. The enthusiastic and active parents also presented a dance number to much appreciation of the audience.

"VANDIPE NINAGE GANANATHA" - A beautiful Dance Drama was presented by the Senior students of the School with live music. One hour presentation of the story of Ganesh, Shiva Parvathi, was simply mesmerizing the audience. The co-ordination with vocal music with violin, flute and mridanga, dance steps of the girls performing was simply awesome.

The stage setting with proper lighting, display of relevant slides to suit the dance, synchronization was perfect.

They show was real dedication of dance teachers, students and the music.

Well Done students and Teachers of NRUTYA KUTEERA Dance school.

There was also stage program with Shrimathi Vidushi Roopashree Madhusudhan and SriVatsa Shandilya as guest of honour.

Sri B Putraya Bhat compered the program, introducing the guests, felicitating the high achiever students of the institute.

As Dinesh Kumar, KrishnaMoorthy Bhat, Michael were there, spent some time in the marriage hall and wished the newly married couple HAPPY AND LONG MARRIED LIFE.

WEDDING AISHWARYA-VARUN

Aishwarya Rai is the daughter of Ganesh Rai, who had been living and working in Dubai for many years, those days when I was working and living in Dubai/Sharjah.

Ganesh Rai is very creative art director and he was involving himself in all the social organizations, like Karnataka Sangha, Dubai, Abudhabi Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah Karnataka Sangha, Bunts Association UAE, Dhwani Prathistana in Dubai and so many other community organizations.

I traveled to ooru, Birthi Salekeri, only to attend the wedding and returned to Bengaluru on the same night, traveling by train from Mangaluru.

He is perfect gentleman, very cordial, good speaker and very helpful in all matters.

His two children Aishwarya, getting married to Varun and son Monish Rai, working.

It was a grand wedding celebrations at Shamili Shanaya, a new big hall with all arrangements, along the national highway at Brahmavara.

There were many friends and well wishers from Dubai, whom I could meet after a long time.

Sarvothama Shetty, a very resourceful and active in all the social organizations, President AbuDhabi Karnataka Sangha was present. Sudhir Shetty, L V Puthran and his wife, Vasu and Vani Bhat, owner of Venus Group of hotels, Dubai, B G Mohandas, recent recipient of Rajyotsava Awardee were there to grace the occasion.

SHAMILI SHANAYA

Traditional wedding with Brahmin purohits performing the wedding procedure and hall was with pomp and pageantry, music, drummers and massive decoration of wedding stage.

Vegetarian grand lunch (Feast) was served in the first floor hall with holige and payasa.

Wished the newly wedding couple HAPPY AND LONG MARRIED LIFE and left the venue.
