Varanasi, Gaya, Ayodhya, and PrayagRaj (Allahabad) Kumbha Snana
It was the tour organized by Jai Karnataka Tours at Bengaluru as 'HOLY MAGHA SNANA" , five day special tour. The owner Narayan and Shubha known for some time and trip was booked in December for Rs 22,000 per person. Madhusudan-Pushpa were also in the group.
Day 1: Friday, Feb 15, 2019 : Leave home at 3.30 am, to catch flight to Varanasi by IndiGo Air at 6 am. Madhusadan came to pick us up and reached airport by 4 am. After checking in, flight on time and reached Varanasi Air port at 8.30 am, Breakfast at airport parking area, arranged by cooking staff of the tour.(Leader Ganesh Prasad)

Leave for Gaya, a distance of 260km by bus on a heavy traffic GT road, with lunch on the way, reached Gaya at 7.30 pm, checked at Hotel Shiva, a nice and decent hotel.Visited BodhaGaya temple and returned, dinner at the hotel by tour staff.

Day 2: Saturday, Feb.16, 2019 : After bath, went Karnataka Bhavana at 8 am to perform PitruKarya (Shraddha), finished by 10.30am, and put 108 rice balls (pinda) at riverside for cows, Vishnu Paada, and Arali Mara. After visiting Budha's statue and other places, and lunch left Gaya at 2.30 pm and reached Varanasi at 1.30 am and checked in at a decent TamilNadu Bhavan at Harishchandra Ghat Road.

Day 3: Sunday, Feb, 17, 2019 - After breakfast, leave for visiting KAASHI VISHWANATHA temple, and it took some time (2 hours) to have darshan, returned to hotel for lunch.

Went to river for performing GangaSnana and other rituals. Returned to hotel and again for boating and viewing GANGA AARATHI, sitting in the boat. After about an hour,visited the following temples going around in an auto.
1. SankastaHara Hanuman Temple
2. Kavade Vishwnatha temple,
3. Devi Temple,
4. Tulasi RamaMandira Temple,
5. Kaala Bhairaveshvara Temple

and returned to hotel at 11 pm, and had dinner and rested for the day.
Day 4: Monday, Feb.18, 2019 - Leave at 6.00 am for Ayodhya, a distance of 160 km by bus, had breakfast on the way, prepared by the staff and reached at 12.30 pm to check in a hotel (Manasa Bhavan). Went to Sarayu River for holy dip, spent some in the water, returned to hotel for lunch.

Again at 4 pm left for visiting places like Dashratha Durbar, Sita's kitchen, Disputed Sri Rama Mandira with heavy security checks with no mobiles and camera, Dasharatha Bhavan and returned to hotel, dinner and rested for the day.
Day 5: Tuesday, Feb 19, 2019 - Leave Ayodhya at 7 am, for PrayagRaj (AlahaBad), a distance of 140 km and reached at 11.30 am. Due to KUMBH at Prayag, lakhs of people converging to the place and the place was blocked at 10 km before and engaged Auto the venue of HOLY MAGHA SNANA . The famous Kumbh, confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Sarswathi river sangama.

To accommodate huge crowd, massive arrangements were made by the UP Government, (CM Yogi AdityaNath), walked almost a kilometre, had dip in the Sangama, other rituals, felt thoroughly purified, returned to auto stand, then to bus parking area, left by 4pm, had lunch on the way and reached Varanasi by 8.30 pm, back to TamilNadu Bhavana Hotel. Some saree purchases, dinner and went to bed for resting.

Day 6: Wednesday, Feb 20, 2019 - Checked out from the hotel by 6.30am and reached Varanasi Airport at 8.30am to catch flight to Delhi at 10.30am. Packed breakfast and lunch was provided by JaiKarnataka tour. Reached Delhi airport Terminal 1 at 12.00 noon. Traveled to Terminal 2 by bus, waited for 3 pm IndiGo Air flight to Bengaluru. Reached at 6 pm, had some coffee and samosa, walked to car parking area, where Madhusudan left his car, returned home safely at 7.30 pm , thus ending 6-day pleasant pilgrimage trip.
