Fifth episode of TaralaBalu Yalskabhinaya was organized by TaralaBalu Centre and Suvarna Prasadhana Yakshagana at TaralaBalu Centre. Coordinated by KrishanPrasad, a keen yakshagana enthusiast and an efficient organizer.
The Prasanga is "PapannaVijaya - GunaSundari", the story from the Kingdom of Maharaja Ugrasena.
He had three grown up daughters RoopaSundari, GunaSundari and HemaSundari'
One day he calls all of them and asks them, whom they consider role model in their life. Roopa and Hema Sundari say, their father is the role model but Gunasundari said that her would be husband will be her most liked person, no matter what kind of person she marries.
Ugrasena gets extremely angry and sent for two Yuvarajas from neighbouring Kingdom, Durmathi and Durmukha gets them married and calls for a poor, limping beggar and gets GunaSundari to marry her. She accepts her father's decision and marries the poor beggar Papanna.
GunaSundari undergoes lot of hardship and eventually Lord Shiva appreciates GunaSundari's unflinching loyalty to Papanna and he becomes Yaksha.
The songs, costume, dancing singing and dialogues are very good.
It was 4 - hour show with no break.
