Maha Shivaratri is annual Hindu Festival dedicated to Lord Shiva. The festival includes "JAGARAN", all night vigil and prayers. Some observe all day fasting with chanting "OM NAMAH SHIVAYA"
We visited my cousin brother Ramachandra Somayaji and his wife Harini at their residence at Godrej apartment and decided to go to ShakaraNagara Ganapathi temple, where there a huge crowd visiting temple. We managed to visit the deities in a short time. There is also huge idol of Shiva outside the temple.
We were back within an hour with a satisfaction of visiting temple on the auspicious day.
