MECH MOCHA - VISIT TO GAME STUDIO

It was just visit to see "Seena", the pet at Rishikanth Somayaji's work place, Game Studio, "MECH MOCHA".

After lunch at ChamarajaPete, we drove to HSR Layout, went round the area few times to locate the office and found it.

It is pet-friendly office with number of youngsters sitting around the tables, some in a closed door, some independently working..... constantly looking at the laptop monitors, their mind working with what is happening in the computers. Times have changed and it's amazing how a posh office with all facilities with tea coffee, with boys, girls with casual dress, their mind working with task they have.

Just abotu half- hour spent , cuddled the pets Yoda and Seena and left the place.

WEDDING CELEBRATIONS - KARTHIK / SHRAVANTHI

Karthik is the son of Ramachandra Hebbar, who is the brother of Sunanda Somayaji, w/o of late Seetharama Somayaji

Wedding took place in Kasaragod, and we didn't attend the same, but "BBEGARA OUTHANA" was held in Bengaluru, Subramanya Mutt on Wednesday, 29th May, for which we participated.

There was Satyanarayana Pooja and Feast and large number of relatives, friends and well wishers attended. Grand lunch was with three sweets and payasa.

After wishing newly weeded couple Long and Happy married life, we left the place.

TRIP TO OORU - 18 - 20 MAY 2019

Ooru Trip

Couple of times I tried took train tickets to Mangaluru, but it came as wait listed passengers. We had to go for a program on Sunday.

On Saturday morning, we were dropped at Kempegowda Bus stand by Rishikanth at 8 am. Fortunately Airavat, comfortable volvo multiaxle bus was leaving at 8.30 and seats were available and got into the bus to travel to Udyavara. (Ticket fare Rs.940 pax)

Stopped over at Hotel DhruvaTare, on the way and had breakfast and stooped neat Sakaleshpura for lunch and reached Udyavara at 6 pm, where Raghuram, (Sujata's husband) was waiting.

We went home and from took the cr and went to Birthi Salekeri for the night.

Sunday, 19th May, we went to Mangalore for a wedding, after grand lunch at the wedding hall we went to Vamanjoor to subramanya Kordale's house visit. We chatted ti about 5 pm and left Mangaluru for Udyavara and then to Birthi home.

Monday, 20th May we went to GuruNarasimha temple for Darshan and prasada (lunch)  and from there went to Anegudde MahaGanapathy Temple. Returned to Kadiyali, Udyavara and left for Mangaluru at 6.30 pm to catch train at 9 pm.

WEDDING+RECEPTION - DILIP BHASKAR/YAJNIKA

Wedding - Sunday, 19th May 2019
MathruChaaya, Gujarathi Bhavan, Mangaluru.

From Udyavara we took the car and drove to Mangaluru, searched the venue of the wedding and attended. Google map could help us to locate the place.

It was a grand wedding of DilipBhaskar, grandson of Govinda Kedilaya, who is mother's brother from Balekudru. There were lot of people, relatives and friends.

After wishing the newly wedded couple, we had grand lunch and left from the place.

Reception - Wednesday, 22nd May 2019
PaiVista Convention Hall, Jayanagara, NammaBengaluru.

It was raining in Bengaluru and still we went to the reception of DilipBhaskar-Yajnika at PaiVista Convention Hall at Jayanagara, travelling time of one and half hours, due to rain and traffic.

Lots relatives, friends and well wishers were present to wish the couple. B P Kedilaya-Vatsala were there. After buffet dinner, we dropped them and returned home.

TEJASVI SURYA - MEETING AT A FUNCTION

It was on the occasion of Narasimha Jayanthi celebrations, we were at GuruNarasimha Kalyana mantapa, where we happened to meet the young and versatile leader Tejasvi Surya.

Tejasvi Surya, 28 year old BJP candidate for Bengaluru South parliamentary Constituency. He is intelligent, smart, handsome and s good speaker. We sincerely hope, he will be winning the LokaSabha seat and strengthen PM Narendra Modijis hands.

TEMPLE VISIT - SHANKARANARAYANA TEMPLE

Shankaranarayana Temple, ShankaraNarayana (GoliKatte)

On the way back from Basavani, we stopped over at ShankaraNarayana, as it was on the way. We visited the temple and had darshana of the Lord and spent about half an hour.

Lords Shankara and Narayana are jointly worshiped here.This is one of the holy places created in the Western Ghats by great Sage Parashurama. The other places are Kukke Subramanya, Udupi, KumbhaKashi (AaneGudde), Koteshwara, Kolluru and Gokarna.

These seven holy places are compared to seven RamaKshetras, which are Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi, Kanchi, Maya, Avantika and Puri.

The legend depicts that Sage Kroda Maharshi meditated in KrodaGiri cave to Lord Shiva and Vishnu to kill demons Kharasura and Rakthasura.

The main deity is Udbhava Linga, Shankara and Narayana,  one feet below the ground level.

There is also a tank called LotiThirtha in front of the temple.

We left from there to drive back to Birthi Salekeri, a distance of about 45 km.
