Lots of functions happen in Bangalore...... relations find it easier ot organize occasions like brahmopadesham (Thread ceremony), engagement, weddings, naming ceremony to name a few takes place often in some family or the other, The marriage hall or Kalyana mantaps are convenient places for people to converge and perform the ceremonies. Everything will be taken care..... catering, decorations, hall arrangements, etc....

ARJUN'S BRAHMOPADESHAM..... cousin brother Ramachandra Somayaji-Harini's grandson ARJUN's thread ceremony was at Prasanna Kalyana Mantapa, Jayanagara on Friday, 30th May 2014. We visited Arjun's parents Aravind-Ambika lives in Aurora, near Chicago in USA. They are on short visit to perform the ceremony. There were more than 400 people for the ceremony and as usual going with ceremony, grand lunch on banana leaf....... with special sweets.... The occasion also enables social networking and keeping contacts alive.

VISMAY'S BRAHMOPADESHAM - Uncle Srinivasa Kedlaya's son B Venkatakrishna Kedlaya's grandson VISMAYA's upanayana took place at Ramanuja Samskrithi Bhavana, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru on Monday, June 2, 2014. The venue was not very big and more than 300 people assembled, mostly relations. Lunch was grand and there memento for each person attended the function. We also visited Arjun's parents, Shashi-Suman, who lives in Cupertino, Near San Francisco, CA, USA.
