Shivarama Karantha Vedike, R T Nagar, Bengaluru had organized a function to remember and pay tributes to Dr K Gopalakrishna Adiga, a great poet, at Tarala Balu Centre, R T Nagar on Sunday 22nd February 2015 at 10.30 am.

Shri Vijaya Shankar presided over the function which started at 10.45am. Shri B V Kedilaya welcomed the speakers on the dias.
Kannada writers and critics , Shoodra Srinivas, Jogi, Vidyashankar, and Sachidananda Shetty spoke for half an hour each on the different faces of Adiga and brought back the memories they had with the great writer and poet.
Mr Vijaya Shankar speech was cery impressive with lot of in depth knowledge on various issues of kannada literature. It was very informative and educative.
