CoffeeBoard Park, BirthiMane, Bengaluru.
India's Independence Day is celebrated throughout the world. I remember, I used to take Ravi and Rishi, when they were small, to Indian Consulate, Dubai for Flag Hoisting ceremony, Cultural program and for nice breakfast, free.
It's 2019, children have grown big, they are following their own path, Ravian busy at work at Hyderabad and Rishi on Himalayan Trek at Leh, Ladak.
We at Bengaluru, not left out. Morning 8.00 am, went to nearby CoffeeBoard Park. Some dignitary hoisted tri-colour Indian national Flag in the presence of a small crown of neighboring residents.
After singing National Anthem, couple of speeches given on national and local issues.
A retired AirForce gentleman sang a patriotic song, and the program concluded with distribution of laddus.
At BirthiMane here we also hoisted National Flag in the presence of opposite house neighbour Mr Bhagawan and our pet @seenutales.
It was day well spent remembering earlier days.
