"Seemantha" ceremony (Baby Shower) is performed for a pregnant woman, for celebrating joy and happiness of the family with friends and relatives.

It was celebrations for Nivedita, D/O Nirmal-Ramakrishna Achar of Hebri.

The ceremony is performed by Ganesh Pooja and Kalasha Pooja for the woman. It is believed that the pure kalasha water will give strength to the woman and will enable her to give birth to a strong and healthy baby.

There were number of relatives, well wishers and friends who attended the ceremony.

Grand lunch, feast (Oota) followed after the ceremony, with usual variety, holige, hayagreeva and other items.

TEMPLE VISIT - KADUMALLESHWARA TEMPLE

Malleshwara, Bengaluru.

Today being an auspicious day, Monday of month of Shravana, we visited Ishwara temple at Malleshwara.

There were large number of devotees, all came for darshana of KaduMalleshwara.

The temple was built in 17th Century, by Venkoji, brother of Maratha King, Shivaji in Dravidian style of Architecture. Lord Shiva is worshiped as Mallikarjun.

It was a short visit, and you climb about 45 steps to reach the temple, nice location, like a garden.

MOVIE NEWS - MUNDINA NILDANA - TEASER RELEASE

In the month of November 2018, there was First Clap of the proposed Kannada Movie "Mundina Nildana", which we attended.

Today, again the movie team, after completing movie shooting,  with Dr Suresh Kumar (a relation ) from UK, also one of the producer, was present for the release of first Teaser of the movie.

Movie teaser was shown on the screen, which was quite encouraging.

Film producer and actor Rishab Shetty was the chief guest and in  short program at the studio hall. The main actors, Radhika Narayan (Chetan),Ananya Kashyap, Praveen Tej and the Director, Vinay Bharadhwaj spoke about the journey of the story, shooting and the location. The media and press were present and later, there was interview with celebrity actors.

GRUHA PRAVESHA - PRAVEEN BHUVANA TANTRY

Praveen is s/o Sarojini (Sudha) Tantry, who is sister of LeelaSomayaji.

Praveen is married to Bhuvana and have a daughter. They took (built) an apartment in the fourth floor of a new building of which first two floors are commercial, third floor took by a relation.

There was GruhaPravesha and SatyaNarayana Pooja performed by Praveen's father, Srinivasa Tantry, which were attended by large number of relations and friends.

Grand lunch follows in the dining hall of KalyaaMantapa opposite and number of vaeities and sweets.

It was sort of get-together of number of relations on the house warming ceremony.

Tuesday,  30t July, It's Nalini (Mom) Birthday......

Morning, after pooja at home, went to RadhaKrishna Temple at SanjayNagar and prayed for good health and peace for the family and friends.

Proceeded to buy some books for children of Somayaji's learning centre.

Had simple lunch at  Kudla's Restaurant at Malleshwara.

Cut a cake in the evening with teh children of Learning Centre,

In the night went to PizzaHut and ate some pizza.

Earlier, there was a beautiful gift from Rishikanth...
