SHANKARA JAYANTHI : FLUSHING, DAY 10

at the Flushing Temple

We were in Queens.... at Sudha's house...nice guestroom at the basement...... morning went for a walk around, weather quite pleasant, not too cold, and after which had a nice breakfast..... and program is to go to temple at Flushing for participating in Shankara Jayanthi celebrations.

After the visit and darshan at Shri Maha Vallabha Ganapathi Temple, we along with Sudha and Vadeesh were at the auditorium for the program.

Shankara Jayanthi Celebrations

There was pooja, bhajans, shlokas from children and Maha Mangalathi and thirtha prasada,
After which there was buffet lunch and it was nice.

Returned to the house and rested for a while and evening went round and had dinner at Woodlands at queens and returned by 10.30 pm and retired for the day.
