HASIRU SANTHE - GREEN FAIR

"Our waste, Our responsibility" was the tagline for program HASIRU SANTHE, The Green fair, a one-day event organized by Horticulture Department and BBMP, Bangalore on 24th August 2014 at NTI Grounds, Vidyaranyapuram, Bengaluru.

Though we could not go to the venue in the morning, we made it up in the afternoon when there was lot of crowd, exhibits and and some stage program.

Organic exhibits had more people wanting to buy and clarify some things. Saplings, kitchen garden, terrace garden, and related products were more in demand.
We could also meet the Agriculture Minister, Krishne Byre Gowda and his wife Meenakshi Sheshadri, who is the co-ordinator of the event.
It was a good program to create awareness among citizens, their responsibility towards society.
