FIRST INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2015

Sunday, 21st June 2015
J P Park, MattiKere, Bengaluru.

At the United Nations General Assembly in December 14th, 2014,  176 nations signed for declaring June 21st every year (as it the longest day of every year)  to be celebrated as INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY.
This was on the proposed by the Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi.
There were lots of pro and against arguments from within the country, specially with politicians with mean mentality to get some public attention. These comments mostly came from blind followers of Congress, who wants to retain their position of power.
The muslim countries vouched for Yoga, as it benefits health and well being.
The day was celebrated throughout the world, from Sydney to Newyork TimeSquare, on Siachen mountains, in the ship, aeroplanes and everywhere.
It's 40 - 45 minutes body exercise for rejuvanating the body and mind with ASANAS AND PRANAYAMA.
We went to J P Park, Mattikere, Bengaluru at 6.30am with mats, a distance of 5 km from the house. The event YOGA SANGAMA, was organized by Rashtriya Sevak Sangha, Yeshawanthapur. The huge shamiana with a huge stage and thin carpet spread on the floor.
The exercises and pranayama (breathing excerises) were directed by a YogaGuru and there speech by RSS KaryaKartha and the event was over by 8.30am.
