As a tribute and centenary celebrations of former Chief of Karnataka, Shri DevRaj Urs, Karnataka Government organized 5-program with "Rangotsava" from 4-7March 2016 at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Namma Bengaluru.

Ms. Abhilasha S was one of persons invited by the Department of Kannada and Culture to write drama on DevaRaj Urs, which she successfully did and drama titled "Arasu-Kanasu"

This drama was presented on the second day of the celebrations. The play was directed by Pramod Shiggov, did a fairly good job of presenting an story of a politician with songs, lighting and stahe set-up. However the actors were not very impressive and their dialogues were not clear and audible. Sometimes the narration was too long and boring without much interest.
However, the artists tried their best to present the drama.
