Kodi means shore in Kannada Language. "KodiBeach" is one of the spectacular beaches of Karnataka and is a distance of 6 km from Kundapura.
The beach is surrounded by water from three sides. The beach offers wide sand range for one to play, fun, relax and of course swim. The view of natural beauty of sunset is amazing from this beach.
We were there at 5 pm after attending Shreya's wedding and having sumptuous lunch at Sharada Kalyana Mantapa, Udupi. Rghu, Shubha, Lahari, Rani, Kartik were there for company.
There is a lighthouse in KodiBeach, and we all climbed in spiral steps to go to the top and even climbing the ladder to reach open balcony. The view of the surroundings is fantastic. The vast area of the beach and coconut trees around the lighthouse is awesome.
We spent some time in the beach playing in the sand and children having fun in the blue waters.
