K H KalaSoudha, NammaBengaluru
The 60 - minutes Kannada Drama "Hey Siri" is a family drama full of confusion, no serious message and a bad example for teenagers and youngsters.
The play starts with the 18 year old daughter of the middle aged family goes out from the house without informing and the mother gets upset as her phone was missing.
The other college going son of the family has girlfriend and brings her home to the surprise of parents. The play goes on with many issues coming up in the family, husband wife relation, wife having affair before marriage, her sister having affair with the same man, then they get married to man whom they are forced to like etc etc.
The play has some witty dialogues, but sometimes not very low and double meaning conversions.
The teenager son shouting back at mom, not a positive message to the audience.
However, did not feel happy to have seen the play.
Artists: Lakshimishree Bhagavatar, Santosh Karki, Anjan Bharadhwaj, Sachin Sreenath, Darshan Gowda, Vinutha Lal.
Director Divya Karanth was not available to present herself with the artists.
