VISITING PLACES - CHENNAI

Sat, Sun 30 - 31st March 2019

It was visit to Chennai to see Sundersean's family, as Prema Sundaresan was seriously ill.



I booked for train ticket to travel on 30th Mar on Yeshwanthpur - Kamakya AC express leaving 8.30 in the morning and return ticket o Shatabdi Express leaving Chennai at 5.30 pm.


As per schedule, we reached Chennai Central at 3.30 pm and relation P Narayana Bhat was at the station to take us. We had dosa and coffee at MATSYA  vegetarian hotel and went to his house.

In the evening we visited a nice Temple, SANTANA SRINIVASA TEMPLE at Magappair. It was neat and clean place of worship, being Saturday, there was crowd of people. We could finish darshan by half an hour and returned Narayana Bhat's home.

Narayana Bhat, 67 years, his father is son of my father's sister is PaduKudru, near Udupi. He has been a successful entrepreneur for many years in Chennai and now honorary Correspondent of Karnataka Higher Secondary School run by Karnataka Sangha, Chennai.He does lot of reading of spiritual books and expert in acupuncture.





Next morning, we went for walk near AnnaNagara, to Vishweshwarayya Tower Park, a large park
where lot of health conscious people come for walking and fitness. We spent about an hour, had some tender coconut and returned to the house. We had bath, breakfast and left by Wuber to Tambaram Judges Colony, where Sunderesans lived.




We had lunch at their house, and left by local train from Tambaram Sanatorium to Park station, travel time of 45 minutes and costing only Rs.20 per person.

We walked across to Central Railway Station, got into Shatabdi Express leaving at 5.30pm.

Reached Bengaluru at 10pm and Rishikanth came to Contonment  Station and came back home ending two days trip.
