"Poulatsayana Pranaya Kathe" - we are seeing the drama for the second time at SevaSadana, Bengaluru.

The same "Sandhya Kalavidaru" team headed by S V Krishna Sharma presenting the drama.

The Ramayana story is viewed differently in the epic written by Sage Valmiki, where Ravana is the hero, and Janaki (Sita) is the daughter of Mandodari (Ravana's Wife), by Vanara Raja Wali.

Wali was killed by Rama, during fight between Wali and Sugreeva.

Apparently, Sita becomes Ravana's daughter, which was told during the play. Sita was abducted by Maaricha, on the instruction of Ravana and kept in Lanka.

Eventually Rama reaches Lanka to free Sita, Ravana welcomes him to his palace, reveals the fact that war is imminent, and Rama should bless him.

The character of Ravana is highly depicted as great hero, great disciple of Shiva, great scholar, MahaBrahmana, Musician, and a lover of music and dance. Rumbhe dances for his playing Veena is also highlighted.
