ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗು

ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸೆರಗು ಎಂದರೇನು ಅಂತಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.ಎಕೆಂದರೆ ಅಮ್ಮ ಸೀರೆ ಉಡುವುದೇ ಅಪರೂಪ. 

ಅಂದು ಮಗು ಅತ್ತರೆ ಕಂಬನಿ ಒರೆಸಲು ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗೇ ಟವೆಲ್. 

ಅಂದು ಆಟವಾಡಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬೆವೆತ ಮುಖ ಒರೆಸಲು  ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗೇ ಕರವಸ್ತ್ರ.

ಅಂದು ಮಗು ಅಮ್ಮನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಆ ಸೆರಗೇ ಬೀಸಣಿಗೆ,ಚಳಿಯಾದರೆ ಹೊದಿಕೆ.

ಅಂದು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಹೊಸಬರು  ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನಾಚುವ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗೇ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಸರೆ. ಸೆರಗು ಮರೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಕದ್ದು 😂ನೋಡಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು. 

ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗು ಹಿಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಅಮ್ಮನ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜಗವನ್ನೇ ಸುತ್ತಿದ ಅನುಭವವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. 

ಮಳೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನೆನೆಯುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬಂದು ತಾನು ನೆಂದರೂ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಸೆರಗಿನ ಆಸರೆ ಅಂತೂ ಖಂಡಿತ.

ಹಣೆಯ ಬೆವರು,ನೆಂದ ಒದ್ದೆ ತಲೆ ಒರೆಸಲು  ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗು ಸದಾ ಸಿದ್ದ. 

ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟ ತಿಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಡಲು ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗು ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಜಾಗ.

ತರಕಾರಿ ತರಲು ಚೀಲ ಮರೆತಾಗ ಸೆರಗೇ ಚೀಲ.

ಗಿಡದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಹೂವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಮ್ಮೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸೆರಗೇ ಹೂ ಬುಟ್ಟಿ.

ಮನೆಗೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಒಮ್ಮೆಲೇ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಆಸನ ಒರೆಸಲು ಸೆರಗೇ ‌ಸಾಧನ .

ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಮಸಿ ಅರಿವೆ ಸಿಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಲೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಕ್ಕುವ ಹಾಲಿನ ಬಿಸಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಇಳಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೂಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗೇ ಬೇಕು.

ಅಂದು ಅಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ , ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹೊರೆ ಹೊರಲು ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗೇ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.     

ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಬಂದರೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಲೇ ಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಛಲ ಬಂತೋ ಅಮ್ಮ ಸೆರಗು ಎಳೆದು ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆದು ಕಟ್ಟಿದಳೆಂದರೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಆದಂತೆಯೇ

ಕಣ್ಣು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸೆರಗು ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದಳೆಂದರೆ ಅಪ್ಪನೇ ಒಮ್ಮೊಮ್ಮೆ ಹೆದರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ.☂️

ಹಬ್ಬ-ಹರಿದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆರಗು ಕಟ್ಟಿದಳೆಂದರೆ ಮನೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಮುಗಿಸಿದಾಗಲೇ ಸೊಂಟದಿಂದ ಸೆರಗಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಿ.

ಅಂದು ಮಗುವಿಗೆ  ಏನಾದರೂ ನೆಗಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಬಳ ಸೋರಲು ಸುರು ವಾಯಿತೋ  ಅಮ್ಮನ ಸೆರಗೇ ಕರವಸ್ತ್ರ,

ಅಮ್ಮನೇನಾದರೂ ಸೆರಗೊಡ್ಡಿ ಬೇಡಿದಳೆಂದರೆ ಎಂತಹ ಕಲ್ಲು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸಹ  ಕರಗುತ್ತದೆ🙏

 ಸದಾ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಸೆರಗನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಹಿಂದೆ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಂದಿನ ಅಮ್ಮಾವ್ರ ಗಂಡಂದಿರೂ ಈಗೀಗ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. 🤪

ಅಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಸೀರೆಯ  ಸೆರಗಿನ ಸೊಬಗನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಣಿ‌ಸಿದರೂ ಸಾಲದು.ಇಂತಹ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಉಳ್ಳ ಸೆರಗು ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಯವಾಯಿತೊ?.😭

ಈಗೀಗ ಸೀರೆ ಉಡುವವರು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿ ಸೆರಗೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇನ್ನು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು  ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸುವ ಮಗುವೆಲ್ಲಿ.??? ಗಂಡನೆಲ್ಲಿ..

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕೆ ?

 ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕೆ ?

 ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚು ಹೋಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವರ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ...!!!

ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯಿಂದ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟ ವಿಷಯ..ಗೆಳೆಯರೇ..

ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯಾಗಬಹುದು... ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ..

ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ದೈಹಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನುಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲ..

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಜಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಯಸ್ಕಾಂತೀಯ ತರಂಗಗಳು (Magnetic Waves) ಸದಾ ಪ್ರವಹಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ... ಹೇಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ...?? 

ದೇವರ ಮೂಲಸ್ಥಾನ ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿ... ಆ ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಮೇಲ್ಛಾವಣಿಗೆ ಹೊದೆಸಿರುವ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಹೊದಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿರಬಹುದು... ಆ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಹೊದಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ಸದಾ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ (Positive energy) ಪ್ರವಹಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ... ನಾವು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣೆ ಹಾಕುವಾಗ ಈ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ... ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕುಳಿತು ಜಪ ಅಥವಾ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ದೇಹದ ಆಯಾಸ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೂ ಬಂದಿರಬಹುದು...

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಇದೇ Positive energy. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಾಂತತೆಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸೂ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನುಮಾನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಇದೆ... ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹ ಮೂರೂ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ... ಮುಖ್ಯದ್ವಾರವೊಂದೇ ತೆರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ... ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಹಿಸುವ ಅಯಸ್ಕಾಂತೀಯ ತರಂಗಗಳು (Magnetic Waves) ಮುಖ್ಯದ್ವಾರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಚಿಮ್ಮುತ್ತದೆ... ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯದ್ವಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಷ್ಟೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ... ಒಂದೆಡೆ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನ , ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ಆಯಾಸ ಪರಿಹಾರ... ಹೇಗಿದೆ ನೋಡಿ..!! ಹಾಗೇ ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಶಕ್ತಿ (Light energy),

ಘಂಟಾನಾದದಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂತ್ರಘೋಷಗಳಿಂದ ಶಬ್ದ ಶಕ್ತಿ (Sound Energy), ಹೂಗಳ ಪರಿಮಳದಿಂದ, ಕರ್ಪೂರದ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯಿಂದ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ (Chemical Energy), ಇವೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾದದ್ದು ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಹರಿವಾಣ, ತಾಮ್ರದ ಪೂಜಾಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಬರುವ, ಉತ್ತರ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಧೃವಗಳಿಂದ (South north pole) ಪ್ರವಹಿಸುವ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ  ಶಕ್ತಿ..!! ಇನ್ನು ತೀರ್ಥಸೇವನೆ... ತೀರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ...??? ಯಾಲಕ್ಕಿ , ತುಳಸಿ , ಲವಂಗ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ...ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀರಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಉದ್ಭವವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ...ತೀರ್ಥಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಹ ಆಹ್ಲಾದವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ... ಚೈತನ್ಯ ಮೂಡುತ್ತದೆ... ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರವೂ ಹೌದು... ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಲವಂಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ವರ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ತುಳಸಿ ನೆಗಡಿ, ಕೆಮ್ಮು, ಬರದಂತೇ ತಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ, ಯಾಲಕ್ಕಿ ಅಥವಾ ಪಂಚಕರ್ಪೂರ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ... ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಔಷದೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳು ತೀರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತವೆ...

ದೀಪಾರಾಧನೆ, ವಿಶೇಷಪೂಜೆಗಳ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು - ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಸಂಚಾರವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ... ಇನ್ನು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ದೇಹದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಬಹುದು...ಇದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರದ ಶುದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಯಾಸದ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ... ಆ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಪುರುಷರು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳಚಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು... ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಒಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು... ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಲೋಹಗಳಿಂದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಸಂಚಾರ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.. ಸಾಕಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಷ್ಟು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಆಧಾರ...??

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೇ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ...

ಬಾಳೆ ಹಣ್ಣು - ಶೋಭಾ ಬರಹ

 ಭಾನುವಾರ, 30 ಜನವರಿ 2022 , 

ಬಾಳೆ ಹಣ್ಣು 

ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತು ಈಗ ಜರ್ಮನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರ ಇವತ್ತು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ. ನಿಟ್ಟೂರಿನ ಕಡು ಮೂಲೆಯ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದರ ಬಾಲು ಜ್ವಲಂತವಾದ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ ಇದ್ದ ಅಪರೂಪದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಅವನೊಡನೆ ಗಂಟೆಗಟ್ಟಲೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲು ಈಚಲುಕೊಪ್ಪದ ಅವನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮ್ಮನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅವರು ರಾಶಿಗಟ್ಟಲೆ ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಬ್ಬರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಳೆಯ ಸ್ಟೂಡೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಹಳೆಯ ಒಡನಾಟವಿತ್ತು. 

ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಗದೊಮ್ಮೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಿತು. ನಮಗಾಗ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಎರಡು ವಿಧದ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು - ಮೈಸೂರು ಬಾಳೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಯಾವಂಡಿಶ್ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಅಂತ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಲಬದ್ಧತೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಇರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಮೈಸೂರು ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಹುಳಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ನಮಗದು ಅಷ್ಟು ಇಷ್ಟ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ದೋಸೆ ಬಲು ರುಚಿ. ದೋಸೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಉಪ್ಪು ಮತ್ತು ಖಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಹುಳಿ-ಸಿಹಿ ರುಚಿ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ರುಚಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದವರೇ ಬಲ್ಲರು

ಸಿಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚುಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ತಿನ್ನಲು ಬಲು ರುಚಿ. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ತಿನ್ನಲು ಒಂದು ಹಣ್ಣೂ ಉಳಿಸದೆ ನಾವೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಗುಳುಂಮಾಯಸ್ವಾಹಾ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು. 

ಆಗ ಘಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ರುಚಿ ನಮ್ಮೂರಿನ ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ದೊಡ್ಡಪ್ಪನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಪಚ್ಚ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು. 

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮ್ಮನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ತಿಂದ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನ ರಸಬಾಳೆಯ ರುಚಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ನೆನಪಿದೆ. ಹಿಟ್ಟಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಇರುವ ಆ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರುಚಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿದೆ. ಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ರೆಗ್ಯುಲರ್ ಆಗಿ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಖರೀದಿಸುವ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಂಡಿಯವರು ನಾನು ಖರೀದಿಸಲು ಹೋದಾಗ ರಸಬಾಳೆ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಈಗಂತೂ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು, ಏಲಕ್ಕಿ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು, ನೇಂದ್ರ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು, ಕರಿ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು…. ಇನ್ನೂ ಏನೇನೋ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣುಗಳು ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ದೋಸೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಖರೀದಿಸುವುದು ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು. ಉಳಿದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಖರೀದಿಸುವುದು ಪುಟ್ಟ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು. ಪಚ್ಚಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ಬಲು ಬೇಗ ಹಣ್ಣಾಗಿ ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಬೇಗನೇ ಹಾಳಾಗದ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಬಾಳೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ

ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಾ ಹಣ್ಣಾಗಿ ಮೆತ್ತಗಾದರೆ ಎಸೆಯಬೇಡಿ. ಅದರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಲ್ವ ಬಲು ರುಚಿ!

Sarvajna Achar at Mangalore gave an hour's DISCOURSE on Shani stories with Vikramaditya and SHANI MAHATME.

Kavitha Upadhyaya, Rekha Bhat presented the program.

There was group recitation of Shri Shanaischara Ashtotara, Shri Nrusimha Ashtotara and Shri Anjaneya Ashtotara, followed by Bhajane from different individuals.

BHARATH SANJANA WEDDING ENGAGEMENT

Surya Lakshmi have been close family friends from our Dubai years.

Bharath, S/O of Surya Lakshmi, is wedding engagement with Sanjana, in the evening.

It was a grand occasion with many relations, friends and well wishers.

The function started at 5.30pm after the pooja at the temple.

Relatives, friends and parents of the boy and girl sat on the JAMAKHANA to decide on the suitable, auspicious date for the wedding.

After much deliberation, wedding date was fixed for 14th July, 2022, venue to be fixed at a later date.

Invitation letter was read out and signed by both parents and Purohiths.

Exchange of rings and photo session followed.

From our Dubai Friends group, MadhusudanPushpa, Rajkumar Veena, VidyaVishwanath were present.

Early dinner followed with Kadabu, shavige, holige Kosambari, mosaru Avalakki etc.

It was time to disperse and we reached home by 9 pm

Due to Covid menace, we could not go to celebrate.

CORONA PANDEMIC - BOOSTER DOSE

The Corona Pandemic is in the third year of its menace.

The latest variant (ROOPANTHARI) is Omicron and is threatening the lives of people.

More and more people are getting positive in their COVID test.

The Government is taking enough measures like night curfew, weekend curfew, minimum crowd is the gatherings like weddings, festivals etc.

We have taken First and Second dose of Vaccine (COVISHIELD) in March and April 2021.

Now it is the time for Booster Dose.

Booked for a slot in the COVIN App.

Went to Amruthahalli Primary Health Centre. (About 6 minutes drive) Waited for half an hour. Took the jab.

There was line of people for Covid Test, Registration and for second dose.

There was no after effect and we were just normal.

PRABHAKARA KEDLAYA - SHRADDHANJALI

 17th January 2022, Monday

PRABHAKARA KEDLAYA

It was in the evening 6 pm we heard the news that Prabhakara Kedlaya , 84 yrs, had serious cardiac arrest at 4pm and breathed his last before he was taken to Hospital.

We visited their apartment at 7 pm at Jayanagara and grieved at his mortal remains and condoled the wife Vatsala, son Vishwanath and few other relations present.

He has been a long time well wisher, friend and relation.

Memories with Prabhakar Kedlaya:

During his service with LIC at Udupi, visited him few times.

During our Dubai years, he was working with NMC at Abudhabi

Visited him few times at Abudhabi, a distance of 170 Km from Dubai, and he also visited our place at Dubai few times.

A God fearing person, performed Homa Shanthi, Naga Pooje at Balekudru, original home.

80 YEARS CELEBRATION

A very speaker, perfect at his facts with figures, spoke eloquently.

Wife Vatsala, Daughter Sudha, Sons Vishwanath and Srinath (passed away 2 months ago)

We only can pray for his SOUL TO REST IN PEACE.

He was in Abu dhabi for many years as an Admin head of NMC and was an Executive Committee Member (founder) of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha for more than 2decades. He was very simple, humble, intellegent and hardworkibg good human being. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Vatsalakka & children and to the bereaved family members.  ಬಹುಕಾಲ ವಿದೇಶ ವಾಸದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರ ನೆನಪಿನಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ‌ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು- ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಿಂಚಿತ್ ಮಾಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ನೆನೆಯಬೇಕಾದ  ಮೇಧಾವಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಧಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಳೇಕುದ್ರು ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಕೆದಿಲಾಯರು.

 ನನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುವ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತ್ಯಾದರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹಂಚಿದ್ದರು. ಟೀಚರ್ಸ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಕೊಡಿಸಿ, ಉಪಕರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಮಾವನಿಗೆ ಇದೊಂದು ಪುಟ್ಟ ನುಡಿನಮನ.

ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿರ ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಿಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
