TEMPLES VISIT

Temples near Mysuru, Hunsur.

Hunsur Gang people started late from Satisha's House, after heavy breakfast.

The following temples were visited:

1. Sri Ramadevaru Devasthana- Chnchanakatte.


About 30 km from Hunsur, the place has beautiful surroundings, tourist spot and the deity is Ramadevaru and Anjaneya.






Being Sunday, lot of visitors and devotes come to the temple and enjoy the view of waterfalls.


2. Sri Arakeshwari Temple, ChamarajaNagara.


About 20 Km from Chunchanakatte, the Gang proceeded to another Shiva Temple, ARAKESHWARI Temple, 



Again on the banks of River Cauvery, the is very old and still the architecture and puillars are very strong.



After Lunch at a hotel, we proceeded to Srirangapatna.

3. Sri Ranganatha wamy Temple, Srirangapatana.


The temple is 1400 years old and is famous for its historical landmark, and is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha (Manifestation of Lord Vishnu)



Since large number of people visit the place, lot of shops and horse riding etc.

The main shrine consists of the idol of Lord Vishnu in a reclining posture. The idols sit the coils of the snake Adishesha Naag with seven hoods. There is an idol of Goddess Lakshmi at its feet. Also, you can see various smaller shrines inside the complex, such as those dedicated to Narasimha, Garuda, Gopalkrishna, and Hanuman.

From there we left for Brngaluru, reached home, BirthiMane at 10pm
