KARNA SAANGATYA (ಕರ್ಣ ಸಾಂಗತ್ಯ) - KANNADA DRAMA

Sunday, 13th October 2019
RangaShankara, J P Nagara, Bengaluru.

KARNA SAANGATYA - is the story of Karna by bringing together texts from KumaraVyasa Bharatha, Pampa Bharatha, Amrutha Someshwara, and Yakshagana Prasanga. Bhagawatha, the narrator tries to weave the play, the characters get into dialogue with each other, the stories of the previous life also get unraveled in the process.

The Director of the play Ganesh Mandarthi has done a wonderful job.

In a story that has multiple strands, the play fuses into various dimensions of KARNA's persona, his inner working and how classical and folk texts have analysed him.

The presentation of the play is superb. The stories of Jambu Nerale fruit, Karna's kavacha, Krishna's dialogues, actions were all fantastic. The energy and the enthusiasm of the actors were amazing. Dialogue delivery, facial expressions, movements, songs, music are all beautiful. The character Bhagawatha runs throughout the play, has done a wonderful job.

150 minutes play at house full RangaShakara hall was watching every movement and dialogue with rapt attention. There was not a single dull moment in the play.

Stage setting and the change of scenes were done by the actors themselves with minimum time taken.

That was a fantastic show by the NEENASAM TEAM. Well done. Congratulations.

BENGALI DURGA PUJA FESTIVAL

Monday, 7th Oct. 2019
Patel's Inn, R T Nagara, Bengaluru.

It was celebration of Navarathri Festival, but it was mostly by the Bengalis, for the Bengalis.

There was a huge crowd in Patel's Inn Club House in R T Nagara, more and more people flocking in, with enthusiasm of festival, loud music, big crowd in the hall, and too many people in the food court, hardly any place to move, and aroma of food and oil.

Bengalis like food and enjoyment, Ladies, Men, girls and boys dressed smartly gulping food as if they never seen it before or just for fancy of it.

We walked briskly through the premises, had a brief darshan of decorated Durga Mathaa, rubbed shoulders with few people in the crowd and walked back.

It was near Sneha Ramakanth's house and she also joined for the visit.
