Nirakarana - A man living in the slum area of Mumbai, earning his living as a job typist, left with five children after his wife’s death. Unable to bring them up by himself he gives them away for adoption The novel explores the emotional conflicts of both father and children.

ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿತಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಸುಳ್ಳು. ಅಂಟಿದರೆ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೆಳೆದುಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ - ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಶಾಕ್ ನಂತೆ..... ಇಲ್ಲ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಷ್ಟು ದೂರವೇ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಸ್ತಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಹೆಪ್ಪುಟ್ಟಲೇಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಲನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಎರುತ್ತಾನೆ........
Narahari, a job typist at Bombay, with five children loses his past two wives........ just could not manage looking after the little children.....  after giving them for adoption, decides to go to Himalayas, spends few years as sanyasi...... but comes back to Bombay to look after children at ANNATHASHRAYA..... but memoirs of his children haunts him always.......
S L Bhyrapaa's narration style keeps the reader on their toes.......
