The occasion was the 4-day Music Festival of Academy of Music, with Chowdiah Award and and K K Moorthy Memorial Music Festival 2017.
First day, 1st November 2017, evening was Inauguration and Lighting of the Lamp. The first session (6pm - 7.15pm) was Hindustani Vocal by Dr K S Vaishali, accompnaied by Sri Vikas Naregal (Table), Ashwin Walwalker (Harmonium)

The second session 7.30 pm onwards , was Hindustani Vocal Music Concert by celebrity Vocalist Pt. Kaushiki Chakraborthy, accompanied by Sro Ojas Adhiya on Tabla and Pt. Ajoy Joglekar on Harmonium.

Ms Kaushiki Chakraborthy's voice is very rich, singing is melodious and completely absorbed in her presentation of raagas. First for an hour, she rendered Raag MalKams and a piece of Tillana and then couple of Bhajans. Her singing is simply mesmerizing and gets one into the variations in the presentation. She has singing since the age of 2 years under the tutelage of her father and now a full pledged celebrity Vocalist.She says "Music is like a vast ocean, she is only trying to absorb and present a tiny part of it" and asks for blessings from all.
