The movie dialogues are in Kundapura Kannada, shows the feelings and situations in a brahmin family and their sensitivities, showed beautifully with rural background. Ammachi grows up with her grandmother and has high ambitions and hyperactive. The joint brahmin family with a mentally disturbed woman and their problems and beautifully brought out in the movie.
Ammachi had to marry Kuppayya (Konkappayya as they used to make fun), against her wishes and goes to Tirupathi and returns home without him, back to Puttamatte.
All the actors have performed extremely well and it is really heart touching movie.
