Tulasi Habba is observed as Utthana Dwadashi or Karthik Poornimi. On this day, it is believed that Lord Vishnu awakens from his four months cosmic sleep.
Tulasi pooja marks the marriage of Lord Vishnu with Goddess Tulasi.
During Ksheera Sagara Manthan, Tulasi plant was evoled from ocean of milk and married to Lord Vishnu.
Tulasi is also considered as incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi and therefore is unison of Gods and Goddesses.
At BirthiMane, mom got flowers, nellikai and plant, decorated the tulasi katte with rangoli and deepa.(lamp) and mangalarathi.
