Wedding Ceremony

Finally the D Day arrived for SUSHRAVYA, getting married to Akshay.

Celebrations and traditional wedding procedure started in the morning.

Previous nights tiredness and memories over with great excitement for tying the knot.

About 10.30 am, the bride, SHUSHRAVYA comes with her uncles and with flower cover on the top, enters the stage where Groom AKSHAY was waiting across the screen.

Few moments, bride comes on the other side of the screen, with Purohits chanting SUMUHOORTHA SAVADHANA, SULAGNA SAVADHANA, bride garlands the groom and in turn, groom garlands the bride.

Later, usual traditional procedure, Kanya Daana, Homa, seven steps groom promising the bride, Mangalya Dharana, all follows.

FOR FUN

For the guests, relatives, friends and well wishers, it was time for socializing and exchanging pleasantries.

DUBAI GROUP

Grand Lunch followed as usual, after which everything was over and time to disperse, with great feeling of witnessing a Grand Wedding ceremony and meeting friends.

SUSHRAVYA PRE-WEDDING GET-TOGETHER

 OORU PROGRAM 4

Sunday, 24th April 2022, 7 pm

GuruNarasimha Sabha Bhavana, Saligrama

That was Get-together, Pre-Wedding Party of Sushravya, Sudhakar Sumangali Daughter.

Well organized, event management people conducted, many dancers and Hi-Fi presentattion.

Chitra Aithal was the co-ordinator and presenter. Girls from her Dance School presented severalpleasing dances for audience for entertainment.

Sushravya and Akshay (Groom) also presented beautiful dances for songs suitable for the occasion. That was grand show.

Later some enthusiastic audience, relatives, friends and well-wishers also joined on the stage and danced to the music.

Many of our Dubai friends attended the party and everyone enjoyed the show.

As usual, after the party there was dinner, returned home by 11pm to Birthi, Salekeri

Raghavendra Upadyaya ,wife Hemamalini have been our Dubai Friends.

We were invited to their son RUTWIK's Brahmopadesha program and we attended the same.

It is nice place near KunjaruGiri Hills and the place has it's own history and people believe there is special importance and performing Brahmopadesha in that place, brings Godliness, longlife and prosperity.

DHWANI PRATHISTANA @ MANGALURU FUNCTION

Town Hall, Mangaluru.

DHWANI PRATHISTANA - A cultural and literary organisation, started 35 years ago in Mumbai, now based in Dubai, with leadership of Sri Prakash Rao Payyar.

DHWANI BOOK RELEASE

Number of cultural and drama programs are presented every year at Dubai and we were closely associated with the association, being in the committee, till we left from Dubai for good.

The First Middle-East "SAHITYOTSAVA" was organized in 2010, where we were actively involved, Abhilasha came from India for presenting a speech on "Sthree Shakthi", highlighting the women writers and poets and their accomplishments.

Sudhaker Rao Pejavar Felicitated 

Also Dance Drama "MALE BANTHU MALE" written by Abhilasha was presented by children, co-ordinated by Nalini Somayaji, was a grand success.

We left from Birthi Salekeri at 3 pm by Abhilasha's Cererio automatic car and reached Mangaluru at 4.30 pm, when the program was about to begin.

Highly publisized program had few audience in the beginning, there were number of dignitaries on stage, political, social leaders.

Felicitations and speeches followed with all praises to Prakash Rao Payyar for his continuous work done for Kannada and Kannada RangaBhoomi and bringing the program to Mangaluru.

A Kannada Drama "MUKHYA MANTRI" with some 740 presentation so far, with Mukhya Mantri Chandru in the main role was presented after the sabha program.

As we had to return to Birthi, Salekeri, we left by 9 pm and had some tiffin at Woodlands Hotel, reached home by 11 pm.
