Birthi House, Salekeri, Brahmavara, Udupi Dist.
Our ancestral house at Birthi, Salekeri is about 2 Km from Brahmavar, Taluk Hq.
The house re-built in 1972, now it more than 50 years.
Whenever we goto OORU, stay there for the night, morning after bath do pooja and then go to any function or visit temples.
Last time we went was on 5th Sept.and it was stil rainy season, the field near the house was with water, number of peacocks nearby looking for food.
The beautiful sight of a male peacock showing off its grandeur, majesty, opening it feather was caught in the camera by Nalini Somayaji.
