The Saumyakeshava temple at Nagamangala was constructed in the 12th century by the rulers of the Hoysala empire. Nagamangala is a town in the Mandya district of Karnataka state, India. It is located 62 km from the historically important town Mysore, and 120 km from Bengaluru, on the Srirangapatna-Sira highway.
We also tried to visit Sri YogaNarasimha temple, but it was closed, and kept the visit for next time.

SRI KAMBADA NARASIMHA SWAMY TEMPLE
The Sri Kambada Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is a historic site near Nagamangala in Mandya district (Kote Betta, Palagrahara), believed to date back to the Chola period. Located on a hill, it features a 4-foot standing Udbhava Murthy of Lakshmi Narasimha. The temple offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and the Palkere Reservoir.
