The Godachinamalki Falls is located on the Markandeya river in Belgavi District, at a distance of 18 km from Gokak Falls.
It is approachable by walking a distance of 1 km from Godachinamalki village, where villagers dry their crops (maize, jover etc) on the road and the vehicles have to pass on the side.
The fall must be displaying full glory during rainy season, the trekkers and adventure seekers, this is ideal place, The Markandeya riven takes a first fall of 25 metres and falls into a rocky valley and after a short distance takes fall of 20 metres. The best time to visit is June to September.
Though lot of tourists visit the place, there is lack of basic facilities like proper road to reach the place, toilets. People bathe in the river for enjoyment. It's peaceful and quiet place to spend one or two hours.
