Amulya is second son of Vani-Vasudeva Bhat, owner of Venus Group of Hotels in Dubai.
Venus Group has few vegetarian hotels in Dubai since 1990's Amba, VenusKarama, VenusGhusais and VenusDeluxe. They are very popular vegetarian outlets with tasty recipes. Specially on Thursdays an Fridays, (weekends) the outlets are always crowded.
VaniVasudeva are also God fearing people and hosting number of Hindu festivals like Ganesha Chaturthi, Rugupakarma and Grand patron of UAE Brahmana Samaja Dubai, since its inception in 2003. They also host number of programs in their native place Puttige near MoodaBidre, Mangaluru.
A grand wedding was organised at Sri Convention Hall, on Saturday evening in the beautiful ambience of open air garden, with Violin Veena Jugalbandi Music and sumptuous food.
Sunday Morning was Baarat (Dibbana) with pomp an pageantry, music, dance and groom was welcomed to the huge wedding hall and the traditional wedding took place.
As usual, after the wedding grand lunch followed with several sweets.
It was also occasion for get-together, networking and socialisation and catching up with the lost contacts. We also could meet many friends from Dubai, who came to attend the wedding.
